Initially I did plan to have a story to set this thing up, but it was an extremely bizarre one involving time travel and a criminal mastermind that made no sense, so I decided against it and I'll just jump right into the basic setup.

Additional information on the teams available immediately is in the old topic here:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6760

Due to a combination of personal decision and random number generating, the team that I will be controlling is the Denver Clouds.

The divisions are set up like this:

AL East:
Norfolk Bruisers
Pawtucket Wizards
Sacramento Elders
Minneapolis Power Pros
Kyoto Knights
Iowa City Ringers

AL Central:
Las Vegas Kings
Louisville Spooks
Tokyo Inazuma
Calgary Bandicoots
Jacksonville Rogues

AL West:
Miami Showoffs
Toledo Dead
Tacoma Bosses
Montreal Crafters
Foxborough Emblems

NL East:
Columbus Darkness
Charlotte Mischiefs
Buffalo Rockers
Wakayama Superstars
Denver Clouds

NL Central:
Maebashi Legends
Saga Pokemon
Honolulu Melonheads
Durham Monsters

NL West:
Round Rock Successes
Memphis Papers
Hawaii SuperSonic
Syracuse MegaMen
San Jose Snakes

Originally planned to do the log in video form, but I don't really have the motivation to do that at this point, so I'm doing this season in casual livestreams. I will upload videos of the streams though so if people missed the stream and want to catch up on it, they can.

I guess I never did update with any videos, but since I just got the second stream done earlier now is as good a time as any.

1.

2.

Short summary for those who don't feel like watching:

The first month has been finished, the team leads their division, and the National League, and maintains a 3 way tie for first in the MLB. I turned up the difficulty right before the last game and although I haven't lost a controlled game yet from what I can remember, the difficulty did make hitting a bit harder so I'll leave it for now and see what difference it makes over the course of a few games. Signed 3 free agents in the first month, one for pinch hitting, one as a swing-man for the situations where all 5 starters are tired before a game, and Peter Parker as an additional relief pitcher since we seemed a bit short on options there.

Only thing I really remember being noteworthy from the games is how Gaia had no home runs going into the game we played against the Successes (which was near the end of the month), but batted extremely aggressively and crushed 3 home runs in a row in that game to drive in all of their team's runs. It was a pretty amazing game for him, haven't seen anything quite like it before.

Edit: I also got annoyed at one of the mode's annoying flaws, choosing not to award a Relief Pitcher of the Month when that makes no sense whatsoever. The only way that should be allowed to happen is if every starting pitcher in the entire league pitched a complete game in every game of the month (which didn't happen, and likely never will)

Did another stream, the embedding YouTube videos thing seems to not work anymore, and I'm too lazy to summarize it, but the gameplay is there.

I don't come here anymore, but still play the game, gameplay will be streamed then uploaded at the same sources as before.
