Yep, I kinda have another option that I don't want to use that's also from Las Vegas and uses Panpaka but I have another season mode with that one and I don't want to get them mixed up by accident

Edit: option 3

That looks pretty good, aaron! Good luck!

Another question I have; it's about the trading. How do you ensure that you get the best gray-bar players from the other team, without giving up the ones you have already on your team? Who/what do you use to trade with the other team?

I think you can use your points to trade for them.

yeah entirely points. That works out better than trading players with expansion teams for some reason.

Is it entirely unfair to add a SP that I just made that is 96 mph, B CTRL, A STAM? Kinda want to add him so I have an ace, but won't if it's unfair.

yeaaaah any created player will unbalance the poop out of it even with just 1 or 2 blues. If you got Bs and As, thats more than any expansion player would have, so I would say no.

I'd save him for something else :)

Alright lol. Also considering starting a user team. First guy I've created in a while, so I made him AnthonyP lol.

So, AOW, what's your process on who to get rid of after you acquire the players in the trades? How do you determine who to send to AAA/delete when saving as an arrange team/who to outright release?

Well with position players it's pretty easy, just a straight comparison. Usually with SS's one is D/D and one is D/E or something, so the D/E goes to the minors. If i have two or three in the minors, I look at all their ratings and toss the worst. I also look at blues - a few rare guys have blues (my 3rd string catcher has Trash Talk, my 2nd 2B has First Pitch or something), so those are worth something. And some sneaky ones had reds, like Error Prone - F that! If they all have no blues then I go with a switch or lefty over righty - I am loaded with righty sluggers, its ridiculous.

Speed is important for outfielders, arms too. Always useful to have one guy with 8-9 speed on the bench at all times for late pinch running duty. Arm is incredible for a 3B - if a guy has like F arm he is out unless he can occupy a DH slot for me.

For pitchers, it's mph first, then control/stamina and pitch types/level. Even a guy with great pitches than only hits 85 is gonna be useless, so I try to 90mph+ only, ideally 93+. Curves and Changeup-types work really well for me, and the SNK is OK too. 2SFB too. So I am looking for those guys over the SLD/CUT only guys or SIFB guys (tho those are exceedingly rare). Knuckleball guys get consideration just cuz of how good that works. Having 2+ Breaking pitches is a must - I think one of the expansion guys posted an ace that had a SNK and nothing else, I woulda cut that guy no matter his other ratings.

Once I whittle it down I also look at pitcher blues, some guys have Poise 2 or Fat Pitch tucked away in there.

I think it starts off with being lucky: finding a pitcher with 96/C/B for example. Once past that, I look for Ds and Cs with players. Es are lower down, but in a pinch, and if they're accompanied by some Ds, they work. Pitchers I look for Control, Speed, Stamina, and then pitches. It's lucky to get a pitcher with D/C control, so I try to snap those up. The majority will be 91/E/C pitchers with a few breaking balls.

I got like 2 good 2nd Basemans and no 3rd baseman (That doesn't have an E or F in everything)
So I made the better utility Second basemen-(E at third) and the other had (F).
The first one got injured sliding into second

I'm a little late to the party hear - sorry about that. I agree with what Alloutwar posted - the stats determine who I play - but I also want to add that I downgrade the importance of contact to some extent.

I play about 99% of my season. Very little simming. When you play the game, it is easy to improve contact rating during play. Any game in which you get a base hit, your contact improves slightly, and if you can avoid striking out, you will avoid ever having a contact decrease. Defense is much harder to improve during games. I think a 3b with EEE arm/defense/error resistance needs to make a diving catch and a throw to get a runner out in order to up his arm strength. A catcher needs to throw out a base stealer (which is hard to do with a level E arm). So I would rank a C who is FEECED way higher than someone who is DEEEED.

I just started mine. I'm off to a 1-2 start (L5-4, L10-9, W10-6), but I'm optimistic. I have outscored opponents 23-21. My losses were both heartbreakers (stranded tying run on second in the ninth in the first game, gave up come-from-behind walk-off GS in the second game). Often, with these pitchers, there's not much you can do. But, I haven't found hitting to be difficult, at least not yet...This season is fun! A great idea for sure!
