Okay, so I edited the rosters in game, and created two teams- team Sonic and team Mario. I'll be playing as team Sonic, since I prefer him (although I like both game series!). We'll be in the NL West, and the Rockies and Diamondbacks have been moved to the AL.

Game 1- Indianapolis Bros (0-0) @ Jacksonville Hedgehogs (0-0)

Summary-- It was a battle of Nintendo vs Sega's mascot at the Tropical Resort. The "Bros" (team Mario) got things going in the top of the first with a barrage of singles against Espio the Chameleon, and they led 1-0. But the Hedgehogs came back in the bottom half, when Magikoopa displayed a lack of control, and Silver the Hedgehog lined a bases loaded single to make it 2-1. Espio didn't have his best stuff, the Bros got two runs in the third, and two in the 4th to make it 5-2. But the Hedgehogs struck back in the bottom of the fourth, Charmy Bee had two-run single, and Blaze the Cat tied it on a single of her own to make it 5-5. It would stay that way until the bottom of the sixth, when pinch hitter E-123 Omega blasted a home run to make it 6-5. It would stay that way until the top of the 8th, when reliever Mills got into trouble, and Mario lined a bases loaded single to make it 7-6. Luigi added a sac-fly to make it 8-6, as the Bros took opening day.

Game 2- Indianapolis Bros (1-0) @ Jacksonivlle Hedgehogs (0-1)

Summary-- Jacksonville immediately got things going in the first two innings, Knuckles and Blaze got RBI singles to make it 2-0. Things would stay that way until the top of the fifth, when Mario and Luigi got singles of their own against Mephiles to make it a 2-2 ballgame. Both teams shut down the opposing offenses until the top of the 11th, when the Bros finally broke the tie on an RBI single to make it 3-2. However, Jacksonville didn't let up- Sonic smashed an RBI double to tie it 3-3, the Charmy Bee hit a ball right through the third basemen's legs, and Sonic scored for a 4-3 extra-inning victory.

Summary-- The Hedgehogs struck in the first inning once again, Tails got two RBIs on a single to make it 2-0, and Knuckles drove him in with a double to make it 3-0. Mario cut the deficit with a solo home run off Chaos, and an un-earned run off an Orbot error made it only 3-2. Chaos very good outing payed off, as Knuckles hit a solo shot to straight-away center off Valenzuela to make it 4-2. In the bottom of the eighth, the Hedgehogs tee-ed off of Arrelanno, they scored seven runs to make it 11-2. The Bros would get a couple of runs in the top of the 9th, but it wouldn't be enough as the Hedgehogs took the series.

Game 4: Jacksonville Hedgehogs (2-1) @ San Diego Padres (2-1)

Summary: The Hedgehogs sent out Tikal the Enchinda to face Greg Maddux in San Diego. Jacksonville went up 1-0 on Blaze's RBI triple, but the Padres countered with a Jim Edmonds home run. The Hedgehogs came back with another run, and then Knuckles blasted a two-run shot off Maddux to make it 4-1. The Padres would get two back on Khalil Greene's home run off Dr. Eggman in the bottom of the 9th, but the Hedgehogs would prevail, 4-3.

Summary: It was Rouge the Bat vs Mark Prior. Jacksonville got things started in the top of the third, when Orbot drilled a two-run single to give the Hedgehogs a 2-0 lead. Jim Edmonds got a run back on a home run, and the Padres tied it in the bottom of the seventh on a sac-fly by Adrian Gonzalez. Gonzo wasn't done, as he crushed a walk-off double off of Chip to give San Diego the win.

Summary: Mephiles faced Jason Schmidt at Dodger Stadium's home opener. The Hedgehogs took the lead in the top of the first when Shadow crushed a solo home run for a 1-0 lead. The Dodgers got a run back on an Andruw Jones homer, but the Hedgehogs got the lead back when Omega ripped and RBI triple and Sonic got an infield RBI single. The Dodgers made it 3-2 on a double by Rafael Furcal, but Shadow hit a sac fly to make it 4-2. Later in the game, Charmy and Shadow got sac-flies to make it 6-2. Eggman got into trouble by loading the bases and surrendering a run, but he got through as the Hedgehogs won 6-3.

Game 9: Jacksonville Hedgehogs (4-4) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (5-3)

Summary: Tikal the Enchinda faced Brad Penny in an exciting pitching matchup. Both pitchers pitched well until Tikal gave up three runs on four hits in the bottom of the third. The Hedgehogs pitching settled down after that, but the Dodgers pitching staff shut down their offense on the way to a 3-0 victory.
