Game 11: Jacksonville Hedgehogs (5-5) @ Indianapolis Bros (7-4)

Summary: Another day, another blown day by the bullpen. Jacksonville got things going in the second, when a Bowser Jr. throwing error scored Knuckles, but the Bros got the run back on a sac-fly. In the bottom of the third, Espio gave up a bloop double to blooper (heh), scoring two for a 3-1 Bros' lead. But in the 5th, Tails lined a bases-loaded single, scoring two to tie it at three. Then, in the top of the 7th, Shadow crushed a Wesson pitch for a home run to make it 4-3. But Mills gave it back up- Monty Mole hit a home run of his own, and a sac-fly against Michalak (inherited from Mills) helped them to a 5-4 victory.

Blaze the Cat to DL with broken collarbone

Indianapolis- One of the Hedgehogs' most consistent players this season is headed to the DL. Blaze the Cat, broke her collarbone when she scored on a play in the 5th inning. Running hard from second, she beat the throw, but got up clutching her shoulder. "It's disappointing" she said with her arm in a sling. "But injuries are part of the game." Blaze has arguably been the Hedgehogs' most consistent hitter, batting .361 with two doubles and one triple, three RBIs, and 5-5 on stolen bases. Orbot will start in her place- he's already started three games, two at second and one at shortstop, batting .385 with two RBIs. Jacksonville called up infielder Boyd from Triple-A as well.

Sessions to DL with elbow pains

Indianapolis-- Another surprising visit to the DL, as Hedgehogs' swing man Sessions is getting placed on it in what the Hedgehogs' said is right elbow inflammation. Sessions blamed it for his poor performance today, giving up 5 runs in three innings with two homers. Overall, he's 1-2 with a 10.50 ERA in three appearances, one a start. Jacksonville recalled reliever McMillian from Triple-A to replace him on the roster.
