NABA NEWS

Week 2 April 6-12
After four days of play in the first week of NABA action only two teams are left undefeated Honolulu Blue Fins and San Jose Knights, When asking Honolulu's manager Rodrigo Canfield told reporters this "It's early into the season and the perfect way to start, the teams pitching has really been coming through and the pitching staff takes great pride in doing so." The blue fins are recording a team ERA of only 2.50 and collective 38 strikeouts leading their divison. The San Jose knights on the other hand haven't shown much dominance on the mound or at the plate, but have had great situational hitting by their bench players. Dexter Murillo smacked two home runs comming off the bench to pinch hit, when asked about his hitting he said " I'm just hopping I can get a starting slot by the end of this season. I mean if I keep hitting like this Coach Donovan is gonna have to play me." we asked Ezekiel Donovan about this he said "Well, Dexter is definitely making the case to start as long as he keeps hitting dingers off the bench for the next couple of weeks he'll start."

Top Storylines for the week.
As we see the Canadian classic get back into action this week, Montreal owner Jean Garreau was fired up about the sweep during the 2 game series, and has been quoted on saying "Depending on how well you perform during these games will be decide whether you get a contract extension or not." Harsh words sent to the players but it's early in the season and anything can happen right?

Early Rumors are surfacing around the NABA GM's that Buffalo is already looking to trade away some of it's middle infielders for possible prospects or true third basemen. As speculation would assume this would benefit the Bulldogs and possibly add a better a solid hitter hitter in the process as well. No one is entirely sure if this is a 100% as stated earlier but the probability of this being the case is swaying in the direction of true.

Following this week we NABA news will do a in-depth Overview of a one team a week, the segment will be called NABA A to Z. Which will overview team Rosters, Managers, and team backgrounds.
