Well, I'm at the beginning of season mode, and I don't really feel like playing the whole season, but if I skip, it kind of feels like cheating in a way. What do you usually do? I'm thinking of skipping to draft, then play the rest of the season from there. What should I do?

well...usually if I have a good team I skip to the draft, then skip to all star, then skip to game 4 of the world series (thats right, arrange team)

That's what I did with the one season mode team I completed.

A number of ppl will play every 6-7 games (depending how large your rotation is) so they pitch once per rotation and see a different guy each time.

You can also pitch the opening game of each series.

I'd feel like cheating if I play every game by myself :P You simply win a lot more than when AI does it. Personally I prefer playing opening for each series.

If you win so much increase the difficulty.

That's the approach I take - I just rotate through my pitching staff through the season playing every 7th game (6 man rotation). That amounts to 25-30 games played for an entire season (including playoffs).
