Hi guys, i'm new here. I've been playing Power Pros for awhile, so i've played a lot of season mode. As a little project, i've decided to post trades that ive made that help my team tremendously. Of course, you guys joining in would be much appreciated. A general rule for all teams during free agency, just offer every guys with mainly a-c grades a minimum contract, and you're bound to get at least one "superstar" to sign. It can be very helpful while rebuilding.

Starting off with the Royals: (Nice rebuilding project, especially low starting salary)
First off, I signed the following free agents:
Morris
James
Nomo
D. Johnson
T. Perez
J. Castro

It never hurts to sign a bunch of free agents at the start, especially if you're rebuilding. Next, I started making the following Trades:

T. Perez > Mcclouth-Pirates
G. Miller > Bradford-Orioles
Meche > Arroyo- Reds
Callaspo > W.Rodriguez- Astros
A. Gordon > Cust- Athletics (Definitely one of the most underrated players in this game)
Gathright > G. Soria- Dodgers (Just as fast and has better con, power, etc)
Dejesus > Matsuzaka- Red Sox (How did this happen?!)
Teahen > Hamilton- Rangers
Tomko > Greene- Padres
Grienke > Duke- Pirates
Grudzielanek > H. RAMIREZ- Marlins (What?!?!)
Morris > Griffey Jr.- Reds
J. Guillen > Lincecum- Giants

This is of course just a start, however it will definitely help your team at the start. Will post more asap

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for the tips.

I agree with your initial FA signings. I usually sign most of those players initially.

As for trades, Great Hart is a great, cheap pickup. I think he starts off in the minors with the White Sox. He's got good power (B, I think), a strong arm, and can play left and 3b.

Yeah, definitely pick up some free agents at the beginning. If anything, you can trade them for some extra points later.

I've found that it's much safer to overpay for pitching than it is hitting, as fielders have a much bigger market.

Also, if anyone wants me to do a certain team, please just ask! :)

M. Young, Catalanotto > S. Drew, O. Hudson (DBacks)
Kinsler, R. Vasquez > Ellis, Cust (Athletics)
O. Hudson > H. Ramirez (Marlins) ((Hudson is usually a free agent after the first year anyhow.))

Blalock > Lincecum (Giants)
Padilla > Garza (Rays)
Fukumori > 2000 Pts. (Any Team, he's in my AAA and making 3000)
Jennings > W. Rodriguez (Astros)
Nomo > G. Soria (Dodgers)
Broussard, Bradley > Arroyo, Phillips (Reds)
Millwood, Guardado, Rupe > Sheets (Brewers)
Benoit > Carmona (Indians)
