What was that?" RobHallet woke up in a cold sweat.

"You OK?" A concerned SpastikMos said. "You took quite a hit yesterday."

"I did?"

"Yeah, you face planted on the concrete pretty hard. You need any water?"

"No thanks I'm fine. But I had a weird dream about being on an expansion team in the MLB."

"You are." SpasMos replied.

"What day is it?"

"Opening Day, March 31st."

"I thought we had done a month already at least. I dreamed about in depth game recaps."

"All a dream." SpasMos said. "Get yourself suited up. It's gameday."

“Our first order of business” Walter Whitman stated, “Is to figure out what the heck we’re going to do at SS. We got Jag, the team captain, heart and soul of the team. Jag is the better player but he would fetch more if we wanted to trade him. RANGERSMVP is a strong player, but cannot for the life of him play another position. We have some opions. Lucky do you want to do?"

A. A. Trade Jag and start RANGERSMVP (What type of player are you looking for)

B. B. Trade RANGERSMVP and start Jag (What type of player are you looking for)

C. C. Keep RANGERSMVP on the roster as a pinch

D. D. Try and start RANGERSMVP at 3rd or 2nd (Specify)

E. E. Put RANGERSMVP in AAA for another year.

"You know what?
I want someone young but still MLB level. A SP. Get me someone like Josh Johnson or Anibal Sanchez. See if anybody'll bite on RANGERSMVP."

"Good advice." Walter said in a monotone voice. "You are dismissed." Lucky walks off and sits in his office, looking up funny cat videos after a long days work. "Secretary can you bring me up Johnson Randy please?" Walter speaks over his intercom. Johnson shows up 5 minutes later, feather necklace and all.

"How can I help you Walter?"

"I need a trade completed for a pitcher. We got RANGERSMVP, all D SS who's on the block. We've had some suggestions for pitchers but I want your opinion on them as well."

Johnson, do you want to target (PM me)

A. Anibal Sanchez
B. Josh Johnson
C. Other prospect (younger than 25 with at least B stamina.)

I'm going to try and make this more story-ish and interactive, especially with staff, but not excluding players. A decision for something must be made in 2 days. If it's not chosen by then I go with the funnies/most logical choice.

"Put the trade in for Josh Johnson. He's the one I want to work with."

SEASON OPENER 4/2

MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS 0 - 0 @ OAKLAND ATHLETICS 0 - 0

Aaronator 0 - 0 v Harden 0 - 0

The first action in the game starts in the bottom of the 2nd inning, a E.Brown single to center puts F. Thomas on 2nd. A Crosby double play puts F. Thomas on 3rd with 2 outs. M. Sweeney walks and T. Buck groundsout to 1st to end the inning.

In the bottom of the 4th, a F. Thomas double puts him on 2nd with no outs. E. Brown doubles and scores F. Thomas, 0 - 1. Crosby hits a double into the gap and scores E. Brown, 0 - 2. Sweeney grounds out but T. Buck singles, moving Crosby to 3rd. Aaronator is replaced by LGM. K. Suzuki hits a fielders choice that gets him safe but throws out Buck. Ellis singles to right and scores Crosby, 0 - 3. Denorfia flies out to end the inning.

In the top of the 7th, Harden is replaced by Embree with Dish on 1st and no outs. Jag hits into a FC which throws out Dish but Jag is safe. A T Dudders single moves Jag to 2nd. BaseballTe grounds into a DP to end the side.

GAME RECAP

I'm going to be doing this instead of box scores. Dish and T Dudders were the only two players on the team to get a hit. LGM and BT9500 came in relief and neither allowing another run. Aaronator struggles to find his control and many of pitch breaking balls just fell out of the strike zone. Jag had a definsive error and BaseballTe hit into a DP. Jag was the only one on the team not to strike out. Aar0nat0r came in with two outs in the 9th and was struck out.

W - Hudson 1 - 0
S - Street 1
L - Aaronator 0 - 1

The trade is still in motion, with 2 stars.

4/3 MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (0 - 1) vs OAKLAND ATHLETICS (1 - 0)

6 - 7 (14 innings)

W - Duchscherer 1 - 0
L - AceMaker55

Terrible, absolutely terrible. After a 6 run 6th inning. We gave up 4 runs in the final two innings, thanks to FilliesPan and Spas Mooss. We had 6 pitchers go in, including FrewersBuz who only pitched .1 innings allowing two runs. Jag123jg pitched a 4 hit 5.1 innings with no runs. Credit to Jag, who went 5 - 7 with a 2B, RBI and R, with no strikeouts. BrewersFuz went 0 - 6, with an RBI on a FC. Long message short, our bullpen is terrible.

NEWS

The Johnson trade was declined, and RangersMVP was brought up, with BrewersFuz going out because of his one position terrible play. Austin1011 will replace him at RF.

MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (0 - 2) 1 @ Buffalo Wings (1 - 1) 4

W - Merricks 1 - 0
S - Olivero 2
L - BT9500 0 - 1

MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (0 - 3) 6 @ Buffalo Wings (2 - 1) 3

14 innings
W - FilliesPan 1 - 0
S - Tdad123 1
L - Merricks 1 - 1

POTG - RangersMVP11, FilliesPan

MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (1 - 3) 6 @ Buffalo Wings (2 - 2) 3

W - AgentP 1 - 0
S - FilliesPan 1
L - Bikowski 0 - 1

POTG - FilliesPan, Jag

In this series I started Rangers in 2B over LetsGoMets go to moods. This paid off enormously as Rangers hit for .400 with 2 RBI's. Austin1011 also deserves credit for launching some balls (No HR's thought) and giving the team a much needed power boost. BT9500 absolutely sucked, while FilliesPan did really well.

OAKLAND ATHLETICS (3 - 2) 5 @ MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (2 - 3) 3

W - Duchscherer 2 - 0
S - Street 2
L - AceMaker55 0 - 2

GoTwins led the team with 2 RBI's (3,4) and RangersMVP had 1 (3). Tdad123 gave up a 3-run home run in the top of the 9th to extend the game, where AceMaker55 lost it in the 11th.

OAKLAND ATHLETICS (4 - 2) 2 @ MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (2 - 4) 3

W - Jag 1 - 0
S - SpasMooss 1
L - Blanton 0 - 1

Austin1011 led the team with 2 RBI's (3,4) and PhilliesFan chipped in with 1 (3) . Jag got the win with 6.1 IP of no run ball, with BT9500 getting the hold in 1.2 IP of scoreless relief. FilliesPan pitch .2 innings of 2 run ball with runners on 2nd and 3rd before being taken out, and replaced by SpasMooss, who pitched 1 pitch to earn the save. POTG are Jag and Austin1011.

OAKLAND ATHLETICS (4 - 3) 0 @ MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (3 - 4) 3

W - ZeroGibson 1 - 0
S - FilliesPan 2
L - DiNardo 0 - 2

Jag (4) , T Dudders (3) , and LetsGoMets (1) all had 1 RBI. ZeroGibson got the win with 5 IP of no run ball. LGM had 1.2 innings of 2 run (both of homers) ball, followed by SpasMooss with 1.1 IP of no hit ball. FilliesPan got the save with 1 inning of 1 hit ball. POTG areLetsGoMets and FilliesPan.

OAKLAND ATHLETICS (4 - 4) 5 @ MLBPPWORLD MEMBERS (4 - 4) 0

W - Devine 1 - 0
L - AceMaker55 0 - 3

Aar0nat0r got the start in CF over Dish, who's been struggling recently. No RBI's were scored by the members, and the only hits were by Aar0nat0r and Austin1011. AceMaker55 started the game for the Members and pitched 4/1 innings of 2 run ball. FrewersBuz came in relief and gave up 3 runs in 1.2 innings. BT9500 got 3 IP with no runs and only 2 hits, recovering from his last few disastrous reliefs.

Series MVP's are the Starting pitchers, who collectivly pitched around 21 innings of 2 run ball. RobHallet deserves a mentions as he is a BEAST at throwing out runners, allowing only 1 steal, and throwing out many, including a late 9th inning one in game 3. I've been thinking about looking for a lefty pitcher, as ZeroGibson is the only Lefty. We are 1 game behind the Rangers.
