you probably should've gotten some Lvl 5 or 6 pitches because they own, but good player still.

and for pitches, I think any pitches work as long as they go different directions and have huge breaks.

Paint the corners with two gyro fastballs. I like to toggle a DCB up and down(the cursor) to fake out a batter. Or you can toss a Palmball down and away. Actually one of the best ways, at least on normal, is to put a fastball right down the middle.

DCB, SCB, and KNCB are all very good; in my opinion the best breaking balls in the game.
I prefer a SLD over H-SLD and especially CUT because it seems to break more, the other ones are faster.
V-SLD and KN are the best down pitches. SPLT can be useful because it's fast and breaks a lot.
SC isn't a very good pitch; a level 4 SC breaks like a level 2 CB.
Shuutos are like sliders: shuuto most movement, sinking FB quickest, h-shuuto in between.

SC is a very good pitch. Mix it in with a SLD or CCHG and that is some combo.

Oh yeah about this dude...

I tried following the steps to get the gyro before but never got it as I always had a hard time boosting up Patty's meter.
I ended up buying the romance necklace this time but still did not pass her arc and get the gyro until around the end of Feb of the second year. (Guess I'm just not too good with the ladies) <-- It's a joke no comments needed Dr. Mario.

I didn't think my pitcher would be any good and was totally focused on obtaining the gyro rather than boosting his stats. Because I was so focused on Patty I neglected my coaches eval. I didn't get to play the first 3 games of my second year. What helped me catch up later and boost some of his stats was obtaining the gamblers ring. I actually had two of them since I gave Patty the giant stuffed animal for Christmas and you always the get ring when you do that.

I think someone with a little better luck than me will end up making a real monster gyroballer very soon.

Wow thanks and what kind of TV do you have?

The TV is some kind of a Toshiba LCD flat screen HDTV 26"
Its way nicer than what I am used to. It's my sisters, got it in June but she never once used it, so she let me. I have it hooked up to my PS3 and took the pictures with my Apple Iphone 3g 16gb. Just looked around and realized I am sort of spoiled though I know most people have these things I am not used to them. I didn't buy any of that stuff for myself. Anyhow, way more info than you asked for but yeah...

Hey its all fluff man. None of it is important just as long as what you got works. The only thing I really appreciate about the better tv set is that I can actually read the in game texts. Some games it was like trying to read Morse code on my old tv. I am an adult but still wouldn't have spent that kind of money on myself. My dad was a locksmith for a school district and my mom was a buyer for the same district. The stuff I got now is because of my wife... And she does not come from money but education can take you places my friend. If you want the fluff go to college and get a good job or marry well!

So would everyone agree that making a pitcher with DCB, KN, and another pitch like a SLD all to the 5th level is a good pitcher? Does anyone have a better combo?

Pitcher who pitches Sidarm.
7 H-SNK, 7 V-SLD, 7 KNCB = Unstopable.
