you get the money back by selling the GR at the end for 750, plus reloading for a GR from a SB is hell

not really.. I found that if I load the game and quickly go to my items and load the surprise bag, I get gambler's ring easily.. you should try it.

sometimes i get lucky, but on my most recent guy, it took me forever,trying methods like going as fast as possible to waiting.

I S/R for 5 SoP with 5 SB. I probably S/R 100 times and did not see Gambler's Ring once.

All right, I'm gonna try and make a better gyroballer now.
Higher speed, higher control, one less pitch.
I'm still going to get an original pitch, because that arc has other rewards. Also, I'm going to pick Slow Curve, more than likely, because with a gyroballer, it's perfect.
any pointers?

Haha, I can see it now. Any argument I have for my guy being the best will soon disapear. That is, if your players are anything like last years. By the way, would you be willing to help me make a hall-of-fame team? Some players like Babe Ruth couldn't be done without a genious an an incredible player.
