* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

Some:

B2B Hitter
Intimidator
Rally Hitter (I think that's an ability)
Walk-Off Hitter

Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

So, you S/L that much and didn't S/L for B2B Hitter from Sittch? Or did you not do Sittch at all?

Its really easy to miss one or two due to s/l too much... when you s/l 20+ times for something, sometimes you forget what you saved and what you missed. I have had several times where I s/l a ton for practice or something and managed to miss an RE I had gotten on previous s/l tries, but did not save. It gets so confusing sometimes when you are s/l'ing for multiple aspects (points AND REs for example), especially when its late/early in the morning on a weeknight or something.

My latest guy I did so much s/l I managed to forget to finish my marvin cave REs for sparkplug, even though I had gotten those REs probably 5 times each on different attempts, but did not get the REs on the tries I ended up saving due to getting whatever else it was I was looking for...

It happens. But yeah, when you put in that much time and work, its good to be thorough and double check to make sure you got all the stuff you need.

I've seen better. Although you have had tremendous amounts of luck with this guy.

This guy required an EXTREMELY high amount of reloading. I had more times with this guy than anyone else I've ever made where the game refused to give me the outcome of an event that I wanted, although I DID get a few abilities from random events with this guy which is also rare for me. I got cannon arm AND throwing 4 from catching the thief. I got good bunt from a random event, and I remember getting clutch hit 4 from a random event as well.

Hopefully, he is being sarcastic. Yes, you can improve this player by adding the abilities that he missed, but generally, you aren't going to do that much better.

This guy is still an amazing player. Good Job!

For some reason I have a terrible time trying to get sparkplug. I can't seem to get it. The Marvin Cave event has 4 different RE's correct?

1) Marvin asks you to go and you say Sure!
2) Marvin and you go and don't have a flashlight and you get lost.
3) Marvin and you go with a flash light you bring and a compass marvin brings and end up back at the beginning.
4) Marvin and you go and here some rushing water and find that you are at the lake and see a gorgeous sunset.

Which event gives you sparkplug. I have read the 3rd one in the forum and the 4th one is listed in the wiki.

I have reloaded the 3rd one several times and the 4th one several times, without any success. Am I missing something?

So, there ARE abilities you can ONLY get from random events and not from SoH, SoD, SoP, LoB, or boosting/gambling?

Nice avatar Apple.

I think that most of the green ablities like Slugger, Agg Steal, etc, as well as Gd Morale, can only be found from RE. I think that if we ever discover Breakup DP it will be a RE.

I doubt it... we're getting off topic here.

why don't people go off topic on my threads?

Okay, back about the player:

one thing that I found was Bunt Master. It seemed somewhat odd to have an ability like that on a maxed hitter (and fielder). How often do you see A-Rod laying a bunt down? Unless that was the only buyable ability left, this just seems kind of odd to me. Just a thought...

I know. I was exaggerating, but I don't really see any of us getting a player with three positions, maxed stats, and almost all the abilities. Somebody prove me wrong, I want to make an All-Star team!
