Posting:

* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.

Hi guys, im new here. Sorry if this has been talked about before in another area, but i see everyone talking about passwords with players people have created. Ive tried entering a password in my 07 and 08 wii mlbpp in the password section and after im done entering it and press the "a" button it just beeps at me and ill hit b button to exit out of the screen. How do i know if the password i entered was correct and where will the password player show up in the system? will it show up in the created player menu or something like that? Thank you for your time :D

It does that beeping sound if it was entered incorrectly. When its entered correctly, it will bring up a screen to view the player. Then just exit from that screen, and it can be used like any other player you made.

Okay first (don't know if you know this already, just being helpful), but make sure that the passwords are both a) from 2008 and b) for your system. Those are the only passwords that will work.

Trust me, it takes a while sometimes to see what you missed.
One time i forgot to capitalize a letter, and that was the difference.

Same here. I was pretty frustrated trying to enter Mike's PW. Even with my brother reading it to me, we still got a letter wrong. We had to do it twice. But yeah, just keep trying, and you'll get it.

We actually didn't leave. My brother sat on the controller or something, so the letter order got all screwed up, and we had to redo it. :grrrr:

thanks guys for your help, in mlbpp 09 it would be nice if they would make the passwords shorter what a pain

I don't think it's possible. With all the possibilities of players, you'll need a LOT of passwords.
