You'll have to wait and see what his name is. Since I've made a player for every position, and I only have 4 pitchers, I'm going to finish my starting rotation and make a fifth starting pitcher.

Wow Cubsfan! You were only above-average at making players when I left the site. That's fantastic mate, you've improved a hell-lot! Is he fully maxed, or just missing a few abilities?
The problem with making almost maxed players all the time is that their contracts, even as rookies, are a living hell to deal with. Know what I mean? Also you become too much of a perfectionist and it takes the fun out of success mode. But the first time is amazing. You've really become one of the best player makers in the game. Not to sound pompous or anything, but you've gotten better then me I think.
Did you get a good job? That's how I made my almost-maxed non Genius, but he wasn't as good as yours as he missed one more ability and had one A but not maxed stat. I wish I could have redone him and not dated so much.

From what I found, not including "Pull Hitter", I only missed three abilities total between batting and fielding abilities.

Very Nice mate! On mine, the only big one (we both missed it) was Intimidator, which I thought I'd get from Lucy and wasted plenty of dates with no abilities earned from any of it. I also missed the catcher and outfield abilities because I was a first/third/second basemen.

Intimidator would take a long time, and would mean he'd have to let some other abilities be left out.

Not any more then were left out with my guy, because I spent all that time with Lucy thinking she gave it (before it was common knowledge hear that Patty did and the game was only a month or two old) and I already had gotten and gambling ring from Patty (I think, I might be mixing up players here).
