So the basis is, hugely great fielder, just OK with the bat, but AMAZING speed. I'll look at B-R/Fangraphs and see what a few more years of stats have told us.

EricDavis put in vs. Lefty 2?? Is Escobar somehow weak against lefties? weird.

I'm seeing this:

Trj 2
Con 7
Pwr 75-80
SPd 12
Arm fielding and eRes all C until I find something to change my mind...fangraphs scouts rates the arm strength decently so maybe 11-12

He has hit lefties fine - better avg and obp, just less HR oddly
Arm is not rated as accurate so throwing 4 is out
Base running and stealing 4 are fine
Bunt and IF hit are fine
Can't do pivot or GG tho. His fielding appears to be based on instincts, speed and range with some arm...not exceptionally good with hands or transfer or throwing accuracy.

I'd give him D8 contact, he's hitting .276.

I'd also bump up power to around 85-90

I agree with most of it but I think his SPD should be 13-14

Well for speed 13-14 is like the best in the game. Escobar gets 20-25 steals a season. If he gets 14 speed, where exactly would dee Gordon fall? Or billy Hamilton? Or ellsbury? I need to be realistic and allow for better speedsters.

I just did venable and gave him 11 speed plus base running and stealing 4. Escobar is very similar is steal totals. I think 11 is good, 12 is on the line.
