So this guy didn't debut until late 2009, but there's no Wii version of him on the board, and he's racked up what, like 950 innings since his debut - the most of any not-yet-made pitcher remaining. I can't wait on Zero anymore - this guy gets made now!

I can't find a robhallett version, which seems insane, but let's look at EricDavis44's info:
2011:
Quote:
Doug Fister , , SEA , 26 , 3 , SP , SP , 160 , 154 , Fastball Life 4, Release 4, Recovery,

2012:
Quote:
Doug Fister , R , 34 , 93 , 4SFB , x , 47% , 1.9
Doug Fister , R , 34 , 93 , SIFB , 5 , 18% , 1.9
Doug Fister , R , 34 , 93 , CHG , 4 , 12% , 1.9
Doug Fister , R , 34 , 93 , CB , 2 , 12% , 1.9
Doug Fister , R , 34 , 93 , CUT , 1 , 12% , 1.9

Quote:
P , 2 , Doug Fister , Fister , Doug , , DET , P , SP , 28 , 164 , 160 , , , , vsrun , poise2 , , spin4 , rel4 , rec4 , , safe , , , , , , , , unlucky , , , , , , , 34 , 93 , 4SFB , , SIFB , 5 , CUT , 1 , CHG , 4 , CB , 2 , ,

So with Fister, we are looking at a combined:
ctrl 160~
Stam 160~
top spd 93-94 (he's averaged a 94 mph FB two seasons)
bats left, throws right!!
#58
recovery 4
release 4
2SFB 2/SIFB 5 - his two seamer has a ton of movement, so I get the SIFB, but god I hate that pitch
CUT 1
CHG 4
CB 2
possibly Unlucky - 3.34 career ERA, but 60-56 record. But then he had 5-0 stretches and 8-1 stretches for the tigers...but a 3-12 record while pitching for the Mariners with a 3.33 ERA, thats unlucky.
Wiki calls him a ground ball pitcher, total lifetime GB rate is 49%-ish...is that enough to classify him as GBs? Hmm.

That's a lot of ctrl/stamina, a mid-high top speed, and 4 secondary pitches to get right. Bottom line is that this is one tough nut to crack. To top it all off, as a righty pitcher Fister is hit well by lefties (.263 BA against, versus righties hitting .220), so I have to get all these abilities and AVOID Vs. Lefty 4.

This is a tall order, maybe the tallest order left in the created player world. :) Lend me your ideas and thoughts on the creation, let's make this guy good!

Tall order is an understatement there - he is listed at 6' 8".

But yeah, the SIFB should have a ton of movement. That's, IMO, his best pitch. The 2SFB in this game doesn't break like a 2SFB breaks in real life, sadly, so SIFB is probably your best bet of the two.

I'd maybe up the CB break a smidge, just by one maybe, but what you have so far looks pretty good. Good luck!

(STILL PISSED THE TIGERS TRADED HIM FOR PURE SHIT)

I have done tons of players and Fister is one. If SIFB is too hard to get to 5 then maybe having spin 4 which would increase movement a bit for that and curve. Control and stamina were hard for him I remember, it took me a lot of gambling and S/L to get the required points etc. I can post him but essentially he is very similar to the template you're using

So I just got the promotion to triple A and I needed the prince necklace, two perfumes and a ton of practices and carryover chocolates. Jeez that was hard.

As of dec week 1 I have
90 mph
110 ctrl
43 stamina
Sifb lvl 4
Chg lvl 1

W risp 4

A surprise bag, recovery necklace and some gbling tix. I will need to boost stamina and control hugely, then gamble for the last 3-4 mph and 7 pitch levels, not to mention recovery and release 4. All this while avoiding vs lefty 4 which means bombing a few games ugh. This might be my hardest challenge...at least the coach bar is maxed already, the scouts bar is barely to passing lol

well now its the first game of AAA and I have

91 mph
142 ctrl
100 stamina
Sifb lvl 4
Chg lvl 3

W risp 4
Safe pitch (argh)

AAA manager bar almost maxed, Scout bar is at about 60? I have one perfume left, just have to gamble on some pitches, keep working at the steakhouse, and buy some glove waxes at the end...15 more ctrl should be doable, 50 more stamina is tough but lets see.
