hah, way to be realistic. Ellsbury definitely got A power :?

No changeup (his best pitch) for Bucholz :?

But thanks, anyway, they're phenomenal.

Yeah I agree...But i had to do something with power stats i had left over for Ellsbury. Didn't want to just leave them hanging. As far as Buchholz goes I wanted to give him V-SLD because it's my favorite pitch to throw in this game. I love the velocity and late break it has.

* Check out the other guys I made on the password exchange thread.

I take it you're from Cali "hella". Oh yeah, Dodger Stadium, that explains it. Those Yankees would be the work of The-F and to much lesser extent, odawli - whose brien taylor was a 1st overall pick bust of the Yankees.

Not me, though I'm not good enough. I picked Yankees because it was the first on the list for favorite teams - coincidence that I loved them as well. The only guy who was better than real life was Brian Cashman - who used to be a 2B. And the ones of my brother and I, who would be lucky to ever play high school ball.

Gamble less, and you're guys will be more realistic.

If I wanted to spend time on Sox guys:
Ellsbury - 2, 13, 119 (highest D), 14 (run), 12 (arm), 14 field, 14 (e res).
nothing perfect for a rookie

Clay B - 97, mid A control, high B stamina
5 change, 5 sb, 2 2sfb.

Matching the stats/abilities of the guys on the japanese site may be a good target score for "readjusting" old guys and adding new ones.

I'm more inclined to alter Papi and Penny rather than recreate them (they already have their special visuals anyways). Then add on the new players, to preserve my success mode character space (you get what, ~200 guys?).

Honest tho, I have little patience to reload constantly, and usually try to RP my way through (shuffle whistles are friends). I have a 25 man roster full of Kansas City caliber guys and it's a challenge to keep up, but I like that.

@J-Gao
LOL, Go Dodger Blue! I'll put down any east team regardless, that's just how the west coast rolls. :D

yeah well, think of how many former AL East people are on the Dodgers.

Torre (NYY)- used to be Little (BOS)
Garciaparra (NYY)
Derek Lowe (BOS)
Scott Proctor (NYY)
Rudy Seanez (BOS)
Larry Bowa (NYY)

and NL East
Penny (FLA)
Furcal (ATL)
Pierre (FLA)
Andruw Jones (ATL)
Gary Bennett (WAS)
Esteban Loaiza (WAS)

Yeah, I dislike adding the players that have the names of MLB players - hear that The-F?

Unless they're super good, like Clemens and Cano. My preference is players with random names and no MLB-ties.

I blame the owners/GM for their "east coast" fetish... Most of those guys, minus Penny and Lowe, are nearing the twilight of their career or are recovering from a bad season (Furcal, Jones, Nomar ><"). I think Loaiza may have been a bust, and so was Schmidt (yay, another Kevin Brown).

The Dodgers have arguably the best Farm System in the MLB, those are the guys I watch, and who we should rely on a bit more.

Hold that thought, Matt Kemp just overran another stop sign. Makes you wonder, does God play MLBPP too? he's been having trouble with the running game like the rest of us.

LOL, don't get down on The-F, he's doing his best, besides, that way, YOUR clemens can beat up the original clemens...

Yeah, but wouldn't it be something if every player looked the same and shared the same name as someone else - parallel universe or something.

About the D's -

Prospect's don't pan out - big league stars do.
Yankees had Brien Taylor - Lefty starter, two years as number 1 prospect for BA - rated better than Kershaw - and he sucked. Farm systems aren't everything.

It's better then having no farm system. A farm system is there for two things. Developing a few key players or TRADE BAIT.

If you have no prospects in this days MLB, you have no trading power, unless of course your the Yankees and just buy your way to a championship. Got news for you J, not all teams have the Yankees money, so you need to develop more through draft and trades.

And then there's the teams that don't have money (or don't spend it correctly), barely any big leaguers, and no farm system ...

like the White Sox ... jk.

And that's why the Yankees have all three of those. and 26 other things.

Post subject:  Fukudome

I need a kosuke fukudome (Chicago Cubs), but I suck at success mode. Has anyone created him yet?
