Requests:
These rules are subject to change at any time. Remember, custom players take time to make just right.

* One player request per person at a time. No exceptions. Post ALL of the required information (name, position, appearance) and as much desired info as possible (desired abilities, stat levels).
* When your request is fulfilled, edit the title of the first post to say so. Make a link to the post if the completion post is deep in the thread.
* Wait a week before bumping an un-answered request. The few of us who are kind enough to offer our services are more than likely busy with other requests or our own players.

Updated Wieters:

TRJ 3
CON 9
PWR 151
SPD 6
ARM 10
FLD 11
ERES 10

Barehand Catch, Gd Catcher, Power Hitter, Intimidator, Clutch 4, VS Lefty 2, Pr Sm Ball, Bases Clearer, Star.

Not sure about Power Hitter yet (he may be more of a Contact Hitter) and Table Setter might be in his future (OBP .100 points higher than Avg) but everything else looks good. ARM 10 might actually be conservative - his CS% wasn't great last year, but the sample size was small and his pitchers didn't do him any favors. His minor league CS% was much better.

Just for fun, I took the 2010 CHONE projections and converted them to PWR and AVG on the MLBPP scale. In this case, Wieters would get CON 8 or 9 (.278 Avg) and PWR 134 (14 HR, or 18.2 HR's over 550 AB). I don't know about you guys, but I'll take the over. Health permitting, I think .290/20 is Wieter's floor for 2010.

Crap, I completed Wieters before referencing ED44's updates above. Oh well - close enough for me.

Does anyone with a Wii have the ability and time to help make more players? There are seriously like 30-40 players we could make still, a big list of them up on the wiki. Russell Branyan, Nelson Cruz, that heat-throwing guy on the Rangers, Casey McGehee, you name it. If you have a favorite team, I can point you in the right direction.

I still like creating these players - it gives me a reason to play Success Mode every once and a while, a hit homers off of Jonathan or try out a new arc. If anyone else wants to assist, I would appreciate it, as would anyone else still updating their Wii rosters. I'd rather have this game updated with new players, than sit around waiting for the next official version. :)

I think the hard-throwing guy you're thinking of is Neftali Feliz.

Yep, thats the guy.

Hey Dishnetkid, you have a wii - wanna make him?

Or, you can make a Tigers player - Josh Anderson? All the stats are right here (for fielders): viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3109&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Just have to hit those stats, and make him look like he does in real life - same uniform #, age, DOB, skin tone and glove/bat. Easy as pie! an hour well spent.

Whaddya say

I could try. I still have both games (mainly playing 07 now) But isn't Josh Anderson on the Royals now? I could make, say, either an Austin Jackson or a Scott Sizemore.

Sure, Jackson or Sizemore are a good start. Both are still in prospect-mode, so keep their ratings low - don't go crazy.

Here's my list of players to work on soon:
Russell Branyan (started)
Neftali Feliz
Pablo Sandoval
Buster Posey
Colby Rasmus
Fernando Tatis
Daniel Bard
Nolan Riemold
Ricky Romero
JA Happ
Andrew Bailey
Gordon Beckham
Daniel Murphy
Jeff Clement
Lou Marson

then that's it, and i retire from success mode permanently. :)

For Jackson, based off a scouting report, I'd go for these stats:

TRJ: 2
CON: F 5
PWR: E 92
RUN: C 10
FLD: D 9
ARM: D 9
E-RES: D8

I can't think of any abilities right now. How do these stats look to you?

that looks perfect. still developing, but some raw tools are there. I would say perfect.

Plus, we're going for where they were in 2008, at the start of the season, 2 years ago now! so that seems perfect to me. If Jackson has improved a bit on that by now, that's fine, he has 2 years to practice. :)

Russell Branyan is done and posted.

Anyone else have a Wii, that could contribute a player or two from their favorite teams?

I am working on Daniel Bard now, about 1/2 way through. Then it's Ricky Romero and JA Happ. I think I can crank out 4 or 5 guys this weekend, I'm getting really good at this.

I want to have the Sox roster be full, and do guys like Johnathan Van Every, Josh Reddick, Jeff Bailey, and Nick Hagadone. I might delete the useless players like Jeff Natale from the roster to make room. Or send them to the FA pool. Since the Sox have Chris Carter and Lars Anderson on the modified roster, no reason to keep Natale on board.

Posey is a maybe - but no impact till 2010? Same with Baumgarner - Panda was a higher priority. First is guys that had an impact in 2008, then 2009, then 2010.

Have you or are you finished with Brennan Boesch? I'd really like to see him made. I'm just giving my opinion on stats here:

TRJ: 2
CON: D+
PWR: B-
RUN: D-
ARM: E-
FLD: E+
E-RES: C-

Just my opinion. Can't think of abilities.
