I'm having a really easy time with this game using the Blue Jays. I turned on auto fielding. Is there anyway to increase the difficulty, most of my hitters are batting 500-600 after a dozen games as I am averaging 30 hits per game.

To increase hitting difficulty, you can toggle the lock on to 1, or set it to normal. You can also set the CPU lvl to higher levels (in season mode, possible during spring training)

Thanks. So I can't change it mid-season?

Unfortunately, you can't.
Theres a practical reason, if your team is losing they don't want to to lower difficulty and pwn.
You can adjust lock on levels though, as well as auto/semi-auto things.

Are you really in any position to complain with auto fielding turned on?

Lock on normal will give you much normal, if not worse then normal stats.
