well finally played it last night and it is a fun game, i started doing a few rosters so my question about that is so in the end of all that you will have pretty much 2 of the same team one that has the original roster and one that has the updated roster?????? i bought some of the uni's but where do i go to use them because in exhibition mode it will not let you use them????? and one more how in the world do i hit a homerun in a game i can smash them out in homerun derby but not in a game.

thanks

You can't use the alternate uniforms with Arrange teams modeled after pre-existing teams.

ok so if i use the original team in exhibition then i can use them ????

now is it a waste to buy the cards or do i get some thing for getting them all because was i want to focus on is getting the uni's and stadiums.

and oh yeah now is all the pitch and hitting type stuff you can buy for when you make cap's ???? or is that also used for editing players

thanks

1) The only time you can use the alternate Unis are with their Original teams, yes.

2) The cards are just for show.

3)a) What are cap's?
3)b) You can use them for editing players and making players in Success Mode and MLB Life.

1) The "Original Team" option in the Arrange Mode DOES NOT allow you to use alternate uniforms. The "Original Team" button is used to create your own custom uniform, rename the team, and change its logos. If you are simply updating rosters NEVER use "Original Team".
What dishnetkid meant is that you can only use alternate uniforms in Exhibition Mode (No season mode) with their original (i.e., base, NO ARRANGE TEAMS) team.

2) Yeah they're just for show, don't worry about buying them yet.

3) I think CAP stands for create a player. There is no create a player in MLBPP, only Success Mode

just clearing things up a little
