Sorry to say but, taking them to restaurants they don't like doesn't work I have tried it several times with the doctor but her level with me stays the same and even when I take her there day after day it still stays the same.

The realism in these games is sometimes stunning. If you marry them though you can make her clean up your crap and rub your shoulders. Plus you don't have to worry about her birthday anymore.
