My character is having .707 right now in my second year. Somehow when I check in season stats, the AVG is in black and I cannot get into batting record. When I receive player of the week, sometimes the AVG would just show ".000". Does anyone know what's wrong with my record? :(

I have 83 games played, and 242 at bats.

You need a minimal of 3.1 times of the number of games your team plays to qualify for the batting title. So you need at least 502.2 at bats. Games doesn't matter, and batting average is hits over at bats+walks+sac hits+sac flies and some other things.

Can you tell me how you come out 502.2 this number? Since my team has played 83 games and I need minimal of 3.1 times 83 at bats to have the title, should that be 257.3? :?

Thank you..

My coach puts me as a starter, but he never let me play the entile games.. Sometime switch me off after my first bat...

Its the total number of games your team plays, not the games you play. The the fomula to qualify for batting title is AB+SF+SH+Walks =/> 3.1xtotal games your team plays.

dang, well where are your vitality and fatigue at? that's probably why you get pulled after your first AB. either way, you may wanna rest your guy. A little tip: Powerins, Infrareds and Ultrasonics are your friends. Use them wisely.

In addition, when I use batters I frequently needed to prevent my fatigue bar from going up, so I use herbal medicine
Also, having fatigue isn't good, it will increase the vitality used thus making more fatigued
If you've been introduced to Wright (the massage therapist), you'll be able to relieve your fatigue, with a little cost of course. He also sells things which can recover vitality (while sleeping) and decreases the fatigue just like Cub of the Ray wrote.

What is your characters defensive stats? If you are lower than a D in both fielding and e res, you'll most likely be taken out early. Happened to me for 2 and a half years before I was able to get my fielding abilities up.

Vitality and fatigue are both good, but it's the field point really suck (E in first year, and D now). I created my guy as a 1B, but he was switched to LF at second year....:grrrr:

Thanks for all the tips. They are all helpful, too.. :D

Were you taken out for a pinch runner?

Lol if you do, that's really annoying
But of course, the vitality (again) could be the cause
Or, because you're on the 8th inning and the posibility is that you won't get another at-bat, and their fielding is better than yours

The managers arn't really smart. They take off their best hitter for a dude with a bit more speed. Eh, pretty good way to win a game.

No, I was only taken out when inner changed.

My character stat is con:15(A) power:202(A) speed:15(A) arm strong:7(E) field:10(C) (it was D at the end of the first year, I'm trying to improve it now), error:14(A)

I totally agree that the manager is idiot. I was always switched with some weak guy who had AVG about 0.1xx and had error all the time...

I've never been taken out of a game. Ever :!: Maybe I'm just lucky, although I did get switched to DH and Jason Michaels playin LF. Only reason I missed games is cause of injury. Otherwise I'm playin. I dont even have near max stats. TRJ 4, Con A, Pwr C, Run C, Arm E, Fld D, Err C.

I guess I am lucky.

Yeah, that's luck. if not for the E in arm, i say you were pretty good overall, good enough to play the whole game. But that's weird that they don't take you out, being an OF.

A little update..
I was chosen to be LF in all star, but I only played 2 bat with 1 homer and 1 single. After all star, I could finally play through entire games. I believe it's about 5 or 6 games later, my AVG was no longer black.

Then, the really terrible thing happened... as I tried to load my saved game, DATA CRASHED....
no more AVG, no more games, nothing....everything is gone now.........
