No matter how patient you are, the pitchers will VERY rarely ever walk somebody. Especially with the size of the strike zone.

That's the root of the problem. The strike zone is humongous. It doesn't really bother me a whole lot anymore because I've learned to live with it, but boy does it make me mad when the pitch is off the plate or really low and gets called a strike.

I'd still never walk in my life mode if the strike zone was the correct size, because I love to swing away with my batter.

I am in 2018 with my starting pitcher. He is a lifetime Padre (just signed his second 3 yr 85.5 mil deal), and is going for Walter Johnson's career shutout record (110). Right now I am at 95. Just like the Big Train, I believe that I lead the galaxy in 1-0 wins as well as 0-1 losses. It is not very realistic how I get so much less run support than the other starters on my team.

I am looking forward to the end of my career and trying to achieve things like 300 wins and 3000 Ks. About the only really interesting thing right now is trying to win the first World Series for the Padres. We've lost twice to the White Sox in the series. But we won 95 games last year and keep improving.

85.5 million deal? I thought you could only go up to 30 mil.

He probably means 85.5 million over 3 years. So 28.5 million per year. 30 mill is the max for one season.
