Expect an update next Canada Day. Maybe sooner, I don't know, I'm kind of busy in the summer now, but more than being busy lately I've just been spending my time on other things.

Really my updates on this are tied to when I work more on the Video Game team thing which has been going on forever with very little progress now.

Offseason:

I won Pitcher of the Year, totally surprising, right?

For contract negotiations, I went with the same agent as I always will, Darryl, although I don't know if my agent choices even matter at this point. Any agent should be able to get me a salary that matches the maximum allowed with the years I'm having. The only difference would be if a good agent could maybe get me a long term contract, assuming I wanted one. Honestly though, now that I think about it, I'm not sure I do. My phenomenal ability still isn't even on the decline, so I might as well just play it by year. You never know when a top team in the MLB is going to drop off and finish in the middle of nowhere and make me regret signing for many years. I think that's pretty much what the Cubs did when I first signed with them.

In the end, I re-signed to the same contract as before. 1 year, $30,000,000 with the Cubs. I'm still annoyed that the manager is such an idiot when it comes to assigning starters in a playoff series, but I got in contact with all kinds of players on all different teams, and I was surprised to hear that managers are that stupid everywhere, so moving would solve nothing, and might lower my chances of making the playoffs in the first place. Best to stick with a team that won 100 games last year, maybe we'll be able to win a playoff series by the year 2112.

I paid my agent $1,500,000. He makes a lot for such an easy job. What's there to negotiate in terms of my contract? "Oh, should we give him 30 million dollars a year, or 30 million dollars a year?"

In other news, Tom Glavine will be 52 years old pretty soon, he still hasn't retired. However, last year for the Angels, he had a 2.02 ERA in 89 innings. Is he even human? How can a pitcher be putting up those numbers in his 50's at the major league level?

I don't think anyone in Power Pros is what you'd call "human".

Yeah, I know.

My weird uncle likes to play and he thought he was tripping balls when he saw people with almost no facial features, no fingers all that stuff. He ended up breaking the TV with a king size peppermint stick.

Ok it's not a weird uncle it's me.
