I think they should make one in '09 without a set amount of years. Just retire when you're ready.

I'm Guessing that you will be given the "retire" option after a set amount of years you know 15 years or something

or

Maybe you might get injured and become unable to play anymore thus GAME OVER

I like both of those ideas. But even 15 years would still take a while.

20yrs is long enough. Not too many players can last that long. It will take a long time to play though it all. I wonder if you can get a career ending or season ending injury?

I will probally have 3 careers go at the same time to keep form getting bored. 1 as left handed pitcher with the Jays. Probally a C for the Jays. 1B for KC or Pit, a crappy time to see how much differance I can make. When I get bored with one I will move on to one of the others.

On the show, it seemed to move fast playing as a closer. There are plenty of teams who could use a power balling RH out of the pen to slam the door. Not sure who I'll play with, but will likely be a NL team.

Maybe a C for the Tigers, but Pudge has it locked up. Im going to be a Catcher I know that for sure, but I don't know which team.

Eh. Pudge is on his last legs. You'll be starting in a year or two so why not go for it.

Injuries played almost no part in last year's mlbpp, so I doubt a season ending injury is a worry.

I'm sure they will make some things from the success mode, such as a bruise, broken leg, etc, but I'll bet you can recover from any of them, you will just lose some experience or abilities, and if you are older, you probably won't be able to gain it back.

Shortstop or CF somewhere, probably for Oakland or Minnesota.

I will probably start out by making either an SS or a 2b for my hometown team, the Dodgers. Kent and Furcal will probably be gone in 2009 and I enjoyed playing the infield in past baseball video games.

I would want to be a catcher for the Cubs. But being a pitcher might be a little more fun.

A catcher would be interesting.

I would play LF\RF probably for the Braves (been a fan before they were good) or the Yanks (favorite AL team). And I would try to bat lead off. When I played baseball back in the day, I wasn't good with the bat but was a threat on bases. Because of that speed coaches would always put me in the outfield at either LF or RF.

1B for the Sox! It's the only position I can play... and Youk is not that good.
