I always woundered if anyone has been traded. I haven't yet but when I see the blockbuster trade by "team X" and Baltimore I get a little worried, because I don't want to get traded.

In my first year I was a backup on the Yankees. They ended up making it to the WS, but losing to the Astros. I ended up on San Diego. We sucked for my first three seasons, but I found that if you stick through the hard times that after awhile your GM will make the right moves and you will improve. In my fourth season we have a legitimate chance to win our division.

Go astros! My astros just traded Eric Byrnes for Joe Mauer. While it would ordinarily be a great trade now I have to compete with Joe Mauer for playing time. :cry: :x

until we made it to the ws, i would always get excited when my team popped up with a blockbuster trade, hoping it was me being traded.

I was hoping to get traded but our team has done great with free agent pick ups. Now if they would just trade Joe Mauer for a better 3B than Oakley and they figured out that Carlos Lee is worth starting....... If they traded Tejada for another relief pitcher we could win the division.

Haha. I also don't understand the AI.

I started off as a Met, won the World Series and got MVP of the WS. Second season, same exact thing.
2 months into my 3rd season, I was traded to the Brewers, who are last place.

I got this message after I got a 10 game hit streak. (in my first year)

After the game, the coach can up to me and said this,
"It looks like you've been working hard recently.
Pretty soon, I'd say other teams are going to come and really scout you.
Just keep playing like this."

Then a message popped up saying,
"The opposition have started to scout me a lot"

Does this mean I am going to get traded?

I got that message too. When I started to slip, it was the opposite message.

I'm not sure if it's "Trade" related.

When you get scouted that just means that the AI is adjusting the difficulty to better suit you.
