Is there any advantage to being drafted in the 4th-5th round instead of the 1st?

You get worse starting stats if you are chosen in the late rounds.

Picking first round gives you the best stats, I know that

there are differences between being drafted out of HS, college, or indy ball but the only differences between rounds 1 and 5 are lower starting stats and less fans

I guess if you want a challenge, go for a late round, but there really isn't much of a reason not to go 1st round otherwise
