I am guessing MLB power Pros 2010 is not coming to the Us. I would for 2k to confirm it for us like last year because all three of there baseball games are god awful( 2k10,Bigs and Manager) with ratings all under an 7.9. Power pro is the only baseball that has an 8.0+ rating. Common sense because I have an Xbox so you can get I'm fed in that department because 2k10 is just not good. My questions is Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Next is the 2010 verison I guess and want to know if I buy it can I play it on my ps2 us or not? if I can't what can i do? Also do they use the Roster from MLB and not japan? Just want to know so I can buy a real baseball game |

NEXT is the 2009 NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) version. Obviously, that means there are Japanese rosters not MLB. It's possible that Konami has cancelled the Major League series, so we may never get another Power Pros game here in the US unless Konami decides to translate and sell one of their NPB games (which would be awesome but is very unlikely). I actually have this game as well, and I must say although it is completely in Japanese, it isn't that hard to understand. The rosters are of the Japanese teams (the NPB). Though the success mode is pretty easy, and you can play only one season, still it's a very fun game, and has good graphics, for a Power Pros game. I would recommend it. Oh yeah, and the PS2 version is called "Jikkyo Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2009." It is very different from it's Wii counterpart. I have never played it so... sorry but I don't how that one is. Anyways, hoped this helped. |

It looks like the Power Pros franchise stopped with MLB Power Pros 2009 (which was only released in Japan). I check the Konami Power Pros site every month or so and haven't seen any news or notes to make it sound like a new MLB version will be coming out in either Japan or the US. Sorry!

Well, that's a bummer. At least we'll get Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2010! Well, by importing it from Japan. Still, that game looks awesome! |
