since it jumped to the ps3 is the gameplay just as good as it was on the wii and or ps2?

To answer your questions in order:

Yes.

Yes. In fact better. (Graphics wise, and it's more fluid)

And yeah same for me, but I don't speak any Japanese, and I find it easy to understand (most of it at least) and plus on the main menu there's Romaji (English) underneath the Japanese terms, so you know what it is that you're choosing (this is only in the main menu though...)

I really like the game. A lot.

what i dont know about japanese baseball you could about fill the grand canyon...anyway if you play season play do you just play 144 games from the same teams in your division? doesnt that get repetitive?

also once playoffs start in japan, how many teams from each division make it?

found a spot on ebay for $64 and shipping...still thinking about it.

by the time i buy this the 2011 game will be out...

In order:

It gets a little bit repetitive, but there is a 2 week (I think) inter-league play section in May and June (I think)

3 teams from both divisions make it, it's shorter, but ultimately easier.

I think that you should get it! It's great!

well just pulled the trigger on the game...coming from overseas so who knows when it will get here...if anyone is on the fence about it because of the price i emailed these dudes on ebay and said that if the season was over could they lower the price on the game...i got them to $49.80 and shipping so not terrible...here is a link to the ebay page, with the updated lower price.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Jikkyou-Powerful-Pr ... 3caf639d97

will post some impressions when the game shows.

This game looks awesome! Too bad I don't have a PS3. I would probably get it if it came out for Wii WITH American teams.

That would just make it a new MLB Power Pros.

Just got the game for Christmas, wondering if there are any good tips for making Success players since I can't exactly understand most of what goes on

Okay, so basically it's the same as the 2007 version of MLB Power Pros. Practice until your tired, go to sleep to get un-tired. Then continue practicing. But something good about it (and also kind of bad) is that you don't have to buy any items. (Hold down L1 to make the text go faster).

Oh, and when given an option, usually go with the first one, or the one with an exclamation point (that's what I do, at least).

And also, it's almost guaranteed that your first player isn't going to be that good.

But if you are still having trouble tell me, I'll see what I can do. :D

Alright, I started making a lefty pitcher for the Giants. I don't exactly know whether I made him a starter or reliever, though

For future reference, take a look at this screenshot from the 2009 game, courtesy of goodways:

The three choices displayed are starter, middle relief, and closer. I'm guessing you should have seen something similar in the 2010 game.

Well, luckily, in the NPB games you can just choose pitcher, and depending on your stats, the manager will tell you what to be.

Also, the last option when choosing a position is outfield, so if you choose that you're player can play all 3 outfield positions! :D

Actually, I just got done making the pitcher! He'll likely be a long reliever, and he's not that bad for my first player! :D

Edit: I was wondering where, in season mode, we import the created players onto the team

Ah, that's where it get's annoying. You have to wait to get the "Import player" card to import your new pitcher.

The card looks like this (the blue one): Image except it has a generic Powapurokun (Mr. PowerPro) on it.

So once you get that, you can import ONLY ONE player (which I think is stupid).

But, if you still don't understand, I could always make a video of either success mode (on how to make a somewhat good player) or on the many menus of season mode. :D
