I'm skipping '12. I should have skipped both '12 baseball games, as The Show was a bit disappointing.

2013 should be a great year for baseball video games though, as this game will likely have a World Baseball Classic mode and The Show is devoting most of their time to revamping Franchise Mode for '13.

Plus, the fact that MLB 2K will not likely be around means that it doesn't drag down anything anymore.

On another note, I'm really close to finishing Bautista. I don't think he'll be getting S power like I wanted, but he seems very realistic.

I could make a Bautista with an S in power if'n you'd like.

Or, if your content with yours, that would be fine too.

Were you using Andromeda? And trying to upgrade power? I have a method for getting players maxed out in one stat using Andromeda.

I got this from JinPawa, what you do is choose a stat you wanna max out and set that stat to 59-69-etc. When the manager's super practice that automatically upgrades a stat comes up, make sure that stat is set at 59-69-etc with the nines... Then if the experiment is successful you can upgrade it to the 79,89 and continue doing that until you get it maxed out.

I am using Andromeda.

I could have easily gotten S power, but since he's modeled after a real-life player, I kinda had to help out his other stats. I didn't want his arm strength at an E, so I used some strength points on that instead of power. It's at a C, which is perfect, IMO. It didn't help that he started out with F power instead of E.

Besides, I do have his power in the 90's, so it's not like he's going to be a singles hitter.

PPJ, did you set the lock on setting when making Joey Bats? If you set it to the expert setting you have higher power to start with and it makes it easier to hit homeruns and such. I need to see about recording a success mode playthrough to show some of my methods.

I'll try it out on somebody like Dee Gordon (obviously, I'd be maxing out SPD).

When does that practice usually come up?



It's on the default lock-on setting.

I think that he's talking about the option where you can choose to upgrade any skill you want.

Pause the video at 4:15 and you will see what I am talking about. You choose that and you can upgrade Trajectory, Contact, Power, Run Speed, Arm Strength, Fielding, and Error Resistance (Although that is somewhat confusing and I do not know any of the options do for that particular one.). It's on a scale from one to ten in the upgrade and is random, although having the stat set at 59,69,etc helps a ton.
