I wish I had a PS3. I really do. These games sound very interesting, and PPFan's logs and playthroughs are making it even more enticing.

If I did get the game, I would try so many things with it (maybe create Justin Verlander somehow in the game?) it wouldn't be funny.

That said, I can't wait to see more of this game on here, YouTube, etc.

I may start creating replicas of MLB stars with this game, very good idea. It's easier to get the skills you want with the new ratings system, IMO.

I wish my game would ship already.

I also brought up MLB players, because in PPFan's latest post in the log, it said that Preston went to America and found somebody, which makes me think it was an foreign player from MLB, and I may be thinking it was an MLB star, like a Justin Verlander (declining-skills part of his career, perhaps?).

Just a thought falling out of my head.

Alfonso Soriano was signed by the Hiroshima Carp straight from the Dominican Republic in the beginning of his pro baseball career. This is similar, except the player is not Soriano and he is from America.

So, he is not a former MLB player. It's pretty good reasoning, though.

How good is season mode in the games?

It's fantastic, and all the animations are in 3D in the menus, so it's nice to look at. Plus, it's 20 years.

And also, regarding that Alfonso Soriano thing, the Carp have a very good relationship with the Dominican Republic, and they do that a lot.

They've even opened a baseball academy there, aptly called the Carp Baseball Academy.

I wanna see video of Sori when he was in Japan, since he was all awesome and stuff. And that is nice that the Carp have a baseball academy in the Dominican.

20 seasons is the biggie, but you can also hire scouts and coaches in Season mode. And, the coolest thing about it is, you can have former players serve as coaches after they retire! I made a Fighters franchise, and I made Darvish the team's pitching coach after he retired.

You can do that?!

For pitchers. It's the pink option.

For hitters. The first green option is hitting coach, and the second green option is baserunning coach.

Well, golly. I always wondered what those meant.
