What is Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2011 Ketteiban? I was searching Amazon and I saw this along with the normal game. Is there any difference?

The Kettiban is a power pros add on(?) With a success mode playthrough of Japan's Civil War days. JinPawa has a playthrough of it on his YT account.

It's essentially a Director's Cut, it has updated 2011 rosters, as in, the rosters at the end of the season.

If you want that, by all means, get it!

It has an addition success mode, like shuuto said. I don't know what it's like to play with no knowledge of Japanese though.

Has anyone figured out what the books mean when you start making your player?

Sorry for the shitty quality picture. The blue books seem to be regular abilities (although, I don't know which ones). The blue/red book would be like Pull Hitter (or Poker Face for pitchers). The green book could be a green ability, but someone in the comments from one of PPFan's vids said that it made your player shorter, so I have no idea. But my real question are the first three (the cellphone looking thingy and the two white things with Japanese writing). What do they mean and how do they help your player?

Anyways, I don't know what the gameboy-ish thing does, probably something with Yabe (Marvin), I would assume.
The second one is for breaking balls, I think, I can't tell because of the quality, but that's what the breaking ball thing looks like. It gives you points for breaking balls.
I'm not sure on the last one either, I'm going to assume that this is a screenshot from one of my videos, so I'll check it out in more detail once I finish up this current Success Mode.

I don't think internet works with a Japanese game on an American system. Maybe they changed it for the new version?

I highly doubt it. PPFan and PPJ have said that their reasons for not getting it right away is that the only thing that looks changed is online mode which is useless to them.
