Maeda!

Sorry I didn't answer sooner on the scouting report, I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do.

He just wants you to give him a scouting report on the players. Like strengths/weaknesses.

Ok, I have decided not to do scouting reports for now and just make up my own.

Pitchers (I'll be doing the draft in a few minutes, the pitcher draft)
P Lin Park 130 D(56) A(81) 1CUT 1DCB—Park is a pitcher that can go far into games with his excellent stamina but has a small and weak pitch repertoire.

P Tsu-Hyan Chong 141 F(37) D(56) 3SHU—Chong would make a good long reliever for one of these teams. He has solid stamina for a reliever that could even put him in the end of the starting rotation. He has a nice small breaking shuuto, considered his best pitch.

P Sora Maeda 142 A(84) S(100) 2HSLD 1SLD 4VSLD—Sora is by far the best pitcher in the draft class. His amazing stamina should be able to easily take him into extra innings if he needs to and his 3 slider combo is flat out nasty.

P Titus Whitberg 144 C(62) D(50) 2SFB 3HSHU 1SCB—Titus would make a good anything in the pitching staff. He has decent stamina and good control which could put him as a set-up man or a middle-of-the-pack starter.

P Ricardo Florimon 147 B(78) C(61) 4SFF—Florimon is an excellent closer but his high stamina gives him a huge chance at being par of the rotation. He also has a very nasty late breaking splitter.

P Toshiyuki Hamamoto 127 D(57) B(74) 2HSHU 1SNK 2VSLD 2CB—Hamamoto is a solid starter with a big repertoire and pitch selection. His pitchers do not have much break, but most hitters never know what is coming.

P Asashi Imamura 133 G(27) D(55) 5SCB 1PALM—Imamura has a big breaking slow curveball. His weakness would be his very low control.

P Edwin Lopez 136 C(62) D(56) 3SNK—Lopez is a sinkerballer that would fit anywhere in he staff with his above avergae control and decent stamina.

P Sergio Tejada 126 D(51) D(56) 2SFB 4HSHU 1SNK—Tejada might throw slow, but with his slowness comes big breaking pitches like his "hard" shuuto.

P Yuki Hura 136 D(53) D(59) 2CHG 3HSNK—There's not much to say about Hura other than he has a chance at the rotation with one of these teams.

P Ryo Kakuta 137 C(65) F(30) 1CB 4SNK—Kakuta is a one-inning kind of a guy. I would use him as a lefty specialist as he is a lefty sinkerballer.

P Sugiura Kamiya 130 C(66) D(56) 3HSLD 1CB—Kamiya has solid control and solid stamina which will give him a chance at a rotation spot.

P Shiichi Honda 118 G(23) G(25) 2PALM—Honda isn't exactly a "decent" pitcher, he's actually really bad. I am very sorry for him, but he has no chance at being a NPB star.

P Daisuke Iwase 145 E(46) C(66) 2CUT 2FORK—Iwase is one of the "more solid" pitchers in this draft class. He has a par cutter and forkball but has above average stamina to help out in the rotation.

P Qu Onodera 136 C(61) C(64) 1FORK 1SNK—Onodera has above average control and stamina but has a weak sinker and a weak forkball. He doesn't throw too hard either, but throws harder than most pitchers in this draft class.

P Sari Harnish 148 D(57) E(42) 6SNK—Harnish is a nasty sinkerballer. He has a pretty good fastball as well and would make a pretty solid closer.

P Andy Gates 143 D(59) D(50) 2HSLD 2SFF 1HSHU—Gates is a solid American set-up man type pitcher. Gates has a small splitter and a small hard slider but mixes his pitches in very well.

P Wilson Redd 136 B(73) B(79) 2HSLD 2SLD 1HSHU—Redd is an established starting pitcher. His great stamina and control are huge factors for him but his lack of vertically breaking pitches are his weakness. If Wilson develops some kind of change up he will be dynamite.

P Seiichi Murakami 131 C(67) C(64) 6HSLD 2SNK 2HSHU—Murakami is a nasty submarine lefty. He has a supreme slider and will fit any staff spot.

P Kijolto Rin 128 E(44) C(69) 2SFB 3SFF—Rin is a solid pitcher with his good stamina and par splitter. He can make the rotation if we draft him.

P Norihisa Nishioka 134 D(51) D(53) 5HSNK—Nishioka is another one of the common sinkerballers in this class. He does have mediocre stamina and control though which is a plus for pitchers in this class.

P Kenji Ishijima 138 F(38) B(79) 5DCB—Ishijima has wonderful stamina, a huge help, and has his signature nasty 12-6 CB.

P Masato Kosashi 135 E(43) F(33) 5KNCB—Kosashi is a lefty specialist. He has a NASTY knuckle curve but with his horrible stamina and below average control he will probably only be a 1-inning guy.

P Arime Shuihara 129 F(34) E(44) 3SLD 1DCB 3CHG—Shuihara isn't exactly the best guy at ptching. He has a good slider and change up but his 12-6 curve is below average as well as his control and stamina.

January 4th, 2012 (After Pitchers draft)

With the draft officially over this is how my pitching staff looks for the 2012 season
___________________________________________________________________________

SP-Lin Park
SP-Sora Maeda
SP-Yuki Hura
SP-Daisuke Iwase
SP-Wilson Redd
SP-Kijolto Rin

MR-Asashi Imamura
MR-Sugiura Kamiya
MR-Shiichi Honda
MR-Andy Gates

SU-Sari Harnish
SU-Titus Whitberg

While the Whalers pitching staff looks like this...

SP-Ricardo Florimon
SP-Toshiyuki Hamamoto
SP-Seiichi Murakami
SP-Kenji Ishijima
SP-Qu Onodera
SP-Tsu-Hyan Chong

MR-Ryo Kakuta
MR-Edwin Lopez
MR-Sergio Tejada
MR-Arime Shuihara

SU-Masato Kosashi
SU-Norihisa Nishioka

I thought that our pitching looked good so we'll just need good offense to compliment our pitching. I thought about Honda though and that we'd really have to develop him...

Nice that you have a strong ace in Maeda!

Hopefully you don't have the same stamina problems as me!

Nice uniforms!

Also, Maeda and Redd will be a great 1-2 punch atop the rotation!

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I kinda forgot about this.

This post is for logos for me to use for my games:

Image:Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks
Image:Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters
Image:Saitama Seibu Lions
Image:Orix Buffaloes
Image:Rakuten Golden Eagles
Image:Chiba Lotte Marines
Image:Chunichi Dragons
Image:Tokyo Yakult Swallows
Image:Yomiuri Giants
Image:Hanshin Tigers
Image:Hiroshima Toyo Carp
Image:Yokohama DeNa Baystars
Image:Sapporo Bears
Image:Kyoto Nintendo Whalers

I'll edit in the Kyoto Whalers logo when I put them together. I've almost made all my hitters, so then I'll have the hitters draft. Watch a couple exhibitions, update on them to pretend it's Spring Training and then I'll start the season!

Fielder draft players and info:
C Nick Lockhart 2 E(44) D(56) E(45) D(54) B(70) C(65)—Lockhart is a good fielding catcher. He's a defensive type guy that can smack some base hits when you need him to.
C Hideki Matsuara 4 B(78) B(75) D(59) D(54) A(82) C(65)—Matsuara is the complete package you want at catcher. He has great hitting skills and is an outstanding 5-tool player. Matsuara's only weakness is his tendency to often hit flyballs.
C Hareesh Yamasaki 1 E(47) D(57) E(40) E(41) E(44) B(72)—Yamasaki is a decent overall catcher. He's excellent at resisting errors and has decent pop.
C Giancarlo Montoya 3 E(49) E(46) E(47) A(81) E(48) C(67)—Montoya has a flat gun. He has an arm behind the plate which is his prized possession. He's not a bad hitter either which compliments his good defensive abilities.
1B Matsubare Hirano 4 D(52) D(53) B(77) E(44) D(55) C(60)—Hirano is a first baseman that wants to hit homers so he often flies out. He does have strong speed though which makes him a menace on the base paths.
1B Allen Flynn 3 E(42) C(68) E(45) E(45) G(20) F(35)—Flynn is a kind of guy you want for pinch hitting situations. You definitely don't want him in the field.
1B Toshiro Ota 1 C(65) D(50) E(48) G(19) G(15) E(46)—Ota is definitely not the most solid 1B out there. Between the 3 1B in this class, it's pretty obvious who you should choose. (Fail Goodjob)
2B Kyoro Hakeyama 1 F(30) C(62) F(37) E(47) F(37) F(36)—Hakeyama is a decent hitter but other than that there's not much to say.
2B Moromao Sanda 2 D(58) E(47) E(46) E(47) F(31) F(33)—Sanda is an ok overall player. He's not bad but he's not great.
SS Yorikane Seo 1 E(47) E(40) F(32) D(55) F(39) F(38)—Seo isn't the best shortstop and isn't that great either. One of the lower picks of the class.
SS Shusake Kitoaji 4 C(62) C(64) B(79) C(60) C(60) B(77)—Kitoaji is a great overall shortstop and is very fast. His weakness is his flyball frequency.
SS Joben Nagano 1 C(64) A(83) E(45) E(48) C(65) A(83)—Nagano is a great shortstop with the ability to hit the long ball.
3B Tsuneari Imagawa 2 C(63) E(48) F(37) E(46) E(41) F(33)—Imagawa is an ok 3B. He is a good contact hitter but doesn't really shine in any other area.
3B Chojiro Maito 1 E(43) B(71) G(25) C(67) C(66) F(39)—Maito can rip the ball but is very slow and commits many errors.
3B Ryosei Dan 2 D(50) B(79) E(42) C(66) E(43) E(47)—Dan is probably the best overall 3B in the class and can hit the ball a way. He is a great hitter and has a strong throw across the diamond.
OF DeMarcus Gunderson 3 B(79) B(73 A(80) D(56) D(52) C(65)—Gubderson has fantastic hitting and speed and has mediocre fielding skills which easily makes him the best hitter in the class.
OF Shichirobei Takeushi 4 E(46) E(41) A(83) B(71) D(58) B(72)—Takeushi is a great defensive outfielder but doesn't do much on offense.
OF Tessai Yamaguchi 3 C(61) A(81) C(68) D(54) E(49) D(57)—Yamaguchi can drop bombs all over the place but doesn't hit for much power.
OF Kenzaburo Ajibana 1 E(44) C(60) F(37) E(42) F(31) D(57)—Ajibana doesn't have much of a strong point other than his ability to hit decent power.
OF Justin Case 2 D(59) D(56) B(71) E(44) C(66) E(46)—Just in case he can't hit the ball out of the infield, he still has the ability to beat it out with his speed. He also has some great range.
OF Toshiharu Ise 2 D(54) E(46) E(45) E(44) B(79) D(53)—Ise has some great range and can also rip some singles pretty easily. Your typical left or center fielder.
OF Gonnohyoe Nose 2 C(60) D(51) D(50) A(87) D(53) D(53)—Nose has a cannon for an arm and also has solid bat control. One of the better outfielders in this class.
OF Yoshida Hayashi 2 D(50) E(41) D(57) D(56) E(48) C(60)—Hayashi is a decent little outfielder that has huge potential.
OF Fujio Soma 1 C(64) D(58) C(66) D(54) E(48) F(34)—Soma is a good overall hitter but won't fit in well in the outfield where he has no range. With a bit of seasoning, this guy could be dynamite.
OF Zeshin Ieyasu 2 D(51) E(46) D(59) D(54) F(35) D(53)—Ieyasu is a solid overall outfielder but really needs to work on fielding range.
OF Sotatsu Akita 2 D(52) F(37) D(58) E(49) E(45) D(58)—Akita can't hit power, but he can get sinker base hits.

Putting up a poll, who is better Gunderson or Matsuara?

I think Matsuara is a little bit better...
