Pete Stone woke up in his home. Alone. The same way it had been for the last 30 years. Every day had been like this since his wife and son had left him. Three years after his historic Red Sox team had lost in the World Series, and he'd disappeared forever from baseball. They never communicated after that fateful day when they lost their home. Stone drifted into obscurity. A forever forgotten thought from the world of baseball. At least, until today. As he continued about his morning routine of grabbing a six pack from the fridge and continuously banging the antenna on his TV trying to get a signal, he got a phone call from an unknown number. He wasn't going to answer, since it was probably just some telemarketer, but his curiosity got the best of him. "Hello?" he answered while still banging on his TV.
"Hello, this is Jiroshima Tenecaca GM of the new NPB team the Tokyo Bulldogs. We're currently looking for a manager. We'd like you to be the manager. How about it?" the voice said. Stone annoyingly answered, "This is spam. I'm hanging up now." and with that, he hung up. Not more than 5 seconds later, the same guy called. Resisting the the temptation to destroy his phone, he answered again. "What?!" he screamed into the tiny cellular device.
"I assure you sure that this is not spam," Tenekaka said with a hint of an Asian accent, "we're an actual team looking for an actual manager. You can even look it up on the Internet if you want. I just want to know if you're interested."
Stone softened up. "Ok, I am interested. I'll look it up later and get back to you." he hung up.

In case you didn't know, I'm using Coach Stone from 2007 success mode. If anyone knows his first name, please tell me. Any feedback is appreciated.

Edit: Please no spamming on this one. *glares at PP27 and Prediction*

After finishing his six pack, Pete wobbled over to his computer. It was an old desktop that made screeching noises when he fired it up. It also looked like he was using Windows 95. So about 10 minutes after he pressed the power button, he was actually able to use it. He went to google and typed in "Tokyo Bulldogs". Sure enough, an article popped up titled "Tokyo Bulldogs to be added to NPB". After reading the article he gave Jiroshima a call.
"Hey Jiro, I looked you guys up and you seem legit. I'll take the job."

"Really? That's great! I'll send a plane for you in December. In the meantime, you may want to touch up on your Japanese."

"Oh, thanks for bringing that up. How am I gonna talk with the players if I can't speak Japanese?"

"The team is made up of young American players. You'll mainly need it for press conferences and stuff like that. It shouldn't be an issue."

"Great! I'll see you in December!"

A day after arriving in Tokyo, Pete walked into Jiro's office. Jiro stood up when he walked in. There were two other people in his office. Both looked about American and like they were in their mid-thirties. Great, I'm the oldest person in the NPB, Pete thought.
"Pete, glad you could make it. Allow me to introduce your hitting coach, Clinton Brady," signaling to the man on his right, " and your pitching coach Matt Little," signaling to the guy on his left.

"Nice to meet you," he told both of them.

"Well, let's get down to business," Jiro started, "I need to give you the list of players." He told Pete while searching his desk for a piece of paper and finding it "I could only find the pitchers." he stated extending the paper to Pete. Pete took it and quickly read it.

For the record, Ohno's name is Ichiro Ohno, not Frederick.

5. Hirao
6. Fordsnot

Batting Order w/DH

1. Double07 SS
2. Copeland 2B
3. Camp 3B
4. Garrett 1B
5. Chaney DH
6. QRAP C
7. Weston CF

Without DH is the same but without Chaney in it. I'm not starting some of the better players to not be too powerful. Also, in a trial run, after 5 games I was 3-2.
Let the games begin
