Anyway, what does the maximum starts mean for pitchers??

Basically, the pitchers you start cannot combine for more than 200 starts. This is to keep people from constantly streaming pitchers (when you drop a pitcher who just started, so you can pick up another one who is about to start), so they can't dominate the wins and strikeout categories due the sheer number of starts their players have had.

In this league, you have 6 spots for starters and 3 for relievers. If you have the same 6 guys starting all year, you would reach just around 200 (assuming nobody gets injured). However, it is likely that you'll have 7 pitchers at one time, while also doing some light streaming. What that limit does is force you to bench some guys instead of starting them. If you have a Verlander, Kershaw, King Felix, any top-tier pitcher, you will likely start them every game, regardless of who they play. Rule of thumb: Start a top-20 pitcher every week. But what this mainly applies to is your fringe guys, you 5th or 6th or 7th best starter.

For example, suppose you have Tommy Milone on your team (Oakland starter, ranked the 52nd best starter in fantasy). If he is pitching at home against the Mariners, of course you start him! He's in a major pitchers park, against a terrible offensive team. On the other hand, imagine he's facing the Rangers, in Arlington. Now he's going against a superb offense in a hitters park. In this scenario, you might want to sit him instead. Odds are, he's going to have a bad game. I mean, he could do very well, but why risk it? Why take a chance on disaster when it might take away an opportunity from someone like Price late in the year?

Again, if this sounds confusing, it's because I'm really bad at explaining things. Fantasy Baseball is not a overwhelming beast that it's sometimes made out to be, even if it looks like it is from the outside. Trust me, within a week of the start of the season, you'll know everything that's going. You won't have any problems

I'm glad! My first year of fantasy baseball was really fun, even though I was in some random league where only one other team was active... Last year I was in an 8 team league with my friends, but 3 people didn't care at all, and another 3 stopped checking by June, leaving me and someone else to fight for the crown until the last day of the season. Hopefully this year will be great, especially if everyone stays active and competitive. Personally, my favorite part is the draft, but managing you team is certainly fun too

Ehh, I wouldn't be so sure. Most websites have him at 3rd. Of course, it depends on Zumi. Braun, Trout, and Cabrera are all good choices

I would prefer H2H points, but roto would be my second choice. The 16th works for me.
