As we suffer through the last day of a long, two-day break from Major League Baseball, we wonder what lies ahead in the second half of the season. Who will make the playoffs? Who will be crowned the champion? Will the Mets trade Michael Cuddyer? So, today, I wonder, what if we skipped the second half of the season, and the playoffs started today? Here's how things would shape up. NL Wild Card Pittsburgh vs Chicago NLDS St. Louis vs Wild Card Winner Los Angeles vs Washington AL Wildcard Minnesota vs Houston ALDS Kansas City vs Wild Card Winner New York vs Los Angeles Members are free to update this over the rest of the second half of the season. |

My predictions All I'm going to say is it's going to be a wild second half when teams acquire stars and injuries take place. I mean BIG time trades! And some MAJOR injuries! I avoided being biased, and I've slept on this 2 nights already. I see this happening....... American League Wild Card: Rangers over Yankees ALDS: Rangers over Royals ALDS: Astros over Rays ALCS: Rangers over Astros American League Champion: Texas Rangers National League Yes, the mets in my opinion, will be the "miracle mets" down the stretch. Wild Card: Mets over Pirates NLDS: Mets over Cardinals NLDS: Dodgers over Nationals (My opinion can change whatever happens this weekend, need to watch this series closely this weekend) NLCS: Dodgers over Mets(Will be one of the greater series of all-time postseason history) National League Champion: Dodgers I didn't mean for the WS to be like this, but it is....in my opinion. Sorry, I just can't predict this next one, it's a flip-flop for me. Two aces will battle it out in Game 6, but the acquired one will prevail. World Series: Rangers over Dodgers WS MVP: Rougned Odor |

I feel like those teams will had a big second Half, in all honesty, I think the Nationals will win the World Series over Astros. |
