WEEK 4 2017: Death, Taxes, Heartbreak Against Green Bay
Thursday Night's matchup between the Bears and Packers represented a renewal of the league's oldest rivalry. Both teams came into the matchup tied for first in the NFC North. Would the Packers come on top once again, or would the Bears grab their 4th win over Green Bay this decade?

Once again, the Bears suffered a back-breaking loss to their archrivals. Green Bay dominated the first quarter, but the Bears roared back in the second quarter. Green Bay regained momentum heading into the break after sacking Mitchell Trubisky for a safety. This led the Packers to a 17-3 run. The Bears responded with two straight scores, but Green Bay came back to tie the game with a field goal. After the Bears punted, it took just three Aaron Rodgers throws to set up a walkoff 48-yarded from Mason Crosby. The Bears will look to shake this off against another division rival, the Minnesota Vikings.

You highlighted my two biggest problems with Madden so far. OL seems underpowered and making RB subs is extremely inconvenient.

I was gonna say, most any sub is inconvenient - idk how u can do creative plays like ones you'd see in real-life unless u know the formations or playbooks for it. Only recently did I even find the button for packages to switch things up and go "big slot" "HB sub" or whatever which is nice but not obvious enough.

WEEK 5 2017: Mitch Trubisky Has Worst Game As Pro, Bears Humiliated on National Television

The Bears got off to a red hot start, leading 13-0 thanks to a dominant start from Jordan Howard. It went downhill from there. Mitch Trubisky was not on the same page with any of his receivers, throwing 3 interceptions on failed routes. Trubisky was sacked 13 times, as the Vikings defense looked like the 2016 version of themselves. The Bears will look to burn the tape of this game and rebound against the Baltimore Ravens.

WEEK 6 2017: Yet Another Heartbreak

The Bears unfortunately picked up right where they left off, going down 17-0. Mitch Trubisky threw another interception early, but responded wonderfully, leading the Bears on a 20-0 run. Marcus Cooper finally broke the Bears' inteception drought with a second quarter intercption. Jordan Howard's late touchdown appeared to complete the 17-point comeback. Joe Flacco responded by picking apart the Bears defense on a 4-play, 75 yard drive. Mitch Trubisky nearly worked a miracle, completing a 40-yard pass to Kendall Wright, putting Chicago at the Baltimore 31 with one second left. However, Trubisky's next pass to Markus Wheaton was deflected, and the Bears fell to 2-4. Eddie Jackson sufferd a collarbone injury and will miss eight weeks. The Bears will return home to face Cam Newton and the 2-4 Carolina Panthers.

WEEK 7 2017: Bears Comeback Falls Short

Image

Once again, the Bears got off to a fast start, scoring on four of their first five drives. However, the Panthers offense clearly did their homework, neutralizing the Bears pass rush to just two sacks. Former Bear Greg Olsen caught 2 decisive touchdowns in a halftime momentum swing. Mitch Trubisky threw a critical pick six, which buried the Bears until around the two-minute mark. Chicago made it interesting, but could not recover a final onside kick. They will look to end a brutal losing streak in New Orleans.

Yeah the sub buttons are hard to find and take up way too much time since you have to swipe through to find the right one. I suppose auto-sub could be an option (like making it so howard's out% is higher and cohen's in% is lower or somethin, idk exactly how those work tho)

sacks OP

If you switch the sliders it may give you less sacks and stuff.
But it could make teams OP like my sliders too. The fumbles are just luck I guess though, but I had about 3 fumbles today with one player.
