Week 1 vs. New England
The Dolphins took on division rival, the New England Patriots. On New England's first possession of the game, Tom Brady threw an interception. On Miami's first possession, Ronnie Brown ran in for a Touchdown. Miami's next drive led to a Brandon Marshall TD in the second quarter. On New England's third possession, Stephen Gostkowski hit a close field goal making it 14-3 Miami. New England scored on their first possession of the second half. With 1:00 remaining in the game, Tom Brady threw another pick, giving the Dolphins the ball with an 8 point lead with 1:00 left. The Dolphins just kneed the ball and won 14-6.
