"Coach, how important was that bounce back win?"
"Huge! We improve to 10-2, and while it's not enough to get to the B10 Championship, it's important to win rivalry games, and we came through. This was a great way to cap off the regular season. Our guys fought hard and proved to be a great team and while we didn't get to the B10 Championship, we lost only 2 games. My first year as a coach was made easy by these guys giving their heart and soul to the team. Go 'Cats!

So, I have an issue to discuss-the questioned realism of this log. I have some stats that show the log is realistic.

Northwestern average margin of victory in 2012: 14.8 points. My team's was 26, however, we beat FCS East 69-0, and Iowa 63-35, so if you subtract those games, it was 24. A lot of games were close as well. The largest margin of victory vs. an FBS team was 28, and 16 if you don't count the Iowa game.
Northwestern average margin of victory vs. ranked teams in 2012: 14, my team's was 17.

I appreciate the comments on my log, but I believe my log is realistic, as my team's stats were very similar to Northwestern's real life 2012-2013 stats.

Does this mean you're gonna go 5-7 next year? For, ya know, realism

Possibly, depending on injuries and luck. Northwestern lost key players such as Kain Colter and Venric Mark for most of the season, and many of their losses were because of horrible luck. They lost on a Hail Mary vs. Nebraska, late second field goal by Michigan, and a late touchdown vs. Iowa.
