The next day, the team gathered in the meeting room for another team meeting. KB: Okay everyone, listen up! We've decided on our 3 captains, please come up to the front if your name is called. Our first captain was a pretty easy choice... Mark Tauscher! Mark broke into a big grin and sauntered up to the front of the room. KB: Mark was a pretty easy choice, as he's our only starter that's ever played in an NFL game... With 6 years under his belt, he's seen quite a bit in his day. Mark? Mark: Yeah, thanks Mr. Boland. Um, it's an honor to be named captain, I know that we have a super young team, so if anyone needs anything feel free to ask me. We're gonna have to stick together through this, it might get tough and it's a long season, but we're a team and we've got each other's backs. KB: Thank you Mark, well said! Our next captain not only wrote one of the best applications, but was also recommended by a few of his teammates, a promising sign. Robert Tomlinson! Rob Tom: Thanks Mr.GM... I... I'm just speechless... *starts tearing up* This is such an honor and great opportunity... *begins to sniffle* You guys are like my brothers and to know that... that... *starts muttering gibberish and sobbing, goes and sits back down* KB: Yeah, uh congrats to Rob. Lastly, our applicants on the defensive side were a little lacking... However, our staff decided to give the honor to Equinameous Jackson! Eq. Jackson: Yeah that's right bitch ass nigga. KB: You're one scary *(censored)* and I do not want to mess with you. Eq. Jackson: Yo my niggas let's beat some ass this year we gon' have the toughest defense in da league am i right homies? *the team gave some half-hearted shouts, as most of the players were also afraid of Equinameous. Rumor had it he didn't play college football because he was in legal trouble for suspected murder of an opposing QB who juked him in HS* Big Cheese: I like this dude. Asshole McGee: Wow. Stupid process, I don't know how you idiots in charge don't see I'm the real captain. Whatever, I know my boys got my back, right guys? Frank Tank: Yeah man we support you! *everyone else is silent* Iam God: Pride is a sin. Kim Kebow: Amen, dude, let's pray for this poor soul. KB: Do what you want in your free time, but I've got one last announcement. James Bond: Wait, how come I didn't win? I'm the starting halfback, not Tomlinson! KB: You ripped off a Churchill quote. This is America. Anyway, Equanimeous, Sam Pound, and Joseph Stallings, and Frank please stay after. *the rest of the team shuffles out of the room, leaving Boland, the coaching staff, and the 4 players. Sam Pound: You decide to take me up on the bathroom offer, boss?  KB. ...No. You're on the right track though, sort of... You all returned concerning answers, so the staff decided that it'd be best for you all to see a psychiatrist every Wednesday- Joseph Stallings: I murdered my last shrink. Frank: I love talking to people! Sam Pound: Hehehe, do we get to talk to them alone? Eq. Jacks: Yo my nigga I ain't doin' that. KB: Yeah, if you want to play on Sunday you have to sooo... yeah. Joseph, you're *(censored)* nuts, Sam, no, you will not get any alone time with the psychiatrist, all four of you will be seeing him at once. For your convenience, we're having him come here after Wednesday film session. Sound good? *The four agree, some gladly, others reluctantly, and leave the meeting* |

PRESEASON WEEK 1: PACKERS- 6 CHARGERS- 27 WEEK 2: FALCONS- 7 PACKERS- 38 WEEK 3: PACKERS- 22 BENGALS- 3 WEEK 4: TITANS- 10 PACKERS 13 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KB: Alright guys, that was a solid preseason! It started a little rough, but hey, you guys powered through it and finished strong, which is good to see. We get a week off, then the regular season starts! Keep working hard!... Okay, one last thing, and then I'll let you guys go. The owner has decided to make our Week 5 home game against the Rams "Fan Appreciation Day". Really he's just trying to sell more tickets for a non-divisional game, but hey, it works. So anyway, I've been asked to ask you guys what you want to do for the give-away. We're gonna have a little poll here... Here's the options: Mittens Cheeseheads Fanny Packs Team Snow Globes Team Replica Jerseys Tote Bags AGENTS PLEASE POST YOUR PLAYER NAME AND THEIR ANSWER.
