I started doing this just for fun and started recording box scores plus recaps of games for my team in NBA 2k13 so i figured i would post them on here if anyone was interested in following or anything. I play 29 game seasons, with 4 minute quarters(I do play all the games). Sorry for all the typos or misspellings, I do most of this at 4 in the morning with like no sleep. Hope you like it. |

With the start of the 2013 NBA season around the corner, and the recent downfall of the Bobcats, Michael Jordan, the owner of the team has chosen to disband the franchise and pursue other business chances elsewhere. With the Bobcats no longer a team, the league has had no choice to fill in the blank spot with a new team, and with that, The Burlington Hogs were formed by Burlington businessman Barney Martin, who will also be the coach of the team. Barney Martin who obviously doesn't have enough money to pay high profile players to come play for a brand new team with little to no fan support, he was forced to hold open tryouts. With every player on the team having no NBA basketball experience it's no surprise that the Hogs are picked to finish last in the eastern conference, but don't tell that to the captain of the Hogs, Jerry Sherman. In an interview with the Burlington press he states "We will make it to the playoffs, We've only had a week to really practice and learn plays, but I think we are gonnna catch teams off guard with our talent. It's going to be fun for everyone on the team, cause most of these guys could have been playing in the league for years, but just were never given the chance...now here is our chance". Although Jerry Sherman is probbaly one of the few people that have high hopes for the Hogs as ESPN reporter Tim Waiters said "this is going to be a disaster, I can't believe Michael Jordan would just disband a franchise like that, The Hogs are going to get blown out every game, it's a disgrace to the league". Regardless if you love it or hate it, it's happening, the Hogs are going to be in the NBA for this year and possibly years to come. I have everything already recorded for the first 24 games but i'm just going to do updates twice a day. |

most of them aren't in the league, i put a couple of them on the free agents list |
