Nobody else? It was Larry Nance of the Phoenix Suns in 1984, who won it over Dr.J.

Too easy, Brian Scalabrine, 2010-2013 NBA MVP and Most Improved Player.

Who is the only player to average a triple-double in a season, and for what Cincinnati-based team?

Hint: The name of the team is also an MLB team name.
Hint: He did this in the '60s.

And despite this, he did not win the MVP award.

That would be Oscar Robertson who played for the Cincinnati Royals. He also played for the Bucks in the 70's (We won our only championship with him and Kareem on the team as well :()

You are correct. Sorry that was so obscure. I just looked up NBA trivia and that one stood out.

Being from Milwaukee I am reminded all the time of the big O when I enter the Bradley Center, and I saw his sportscentury as well... :P

What was the Lakers original city they played in?

Minneapolis/St. Paul. That's why they have the name the Lakers, because Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes.

Although Wisconsin does have more lakes than Minnesota. They just needed something a tiny bit interesting to put on their license plates.
