Backstory:
Early life
David Taylor Price was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Bonnie and Debbie Price.[2] He has two brothers.[2] He began playing basketball in his early childhood. He grew up as an Atlanta Braves fan and idolized outfielder David Justice.[3] He attended Cooperstown Dreams Park when he was a teenager. As a teenager, he was a standout on the Blackman High School baseball and basketball teams.[4] In his high school career, he compiled a 4.3 block and 151 steals. He was the recipient of the Rutherford County MVP (2003 and 2004), the Co-District 7AAA Defender of the Year with Michael Alcorn his senior season, and the Rutherford County Male Athlete of the Year in 2002, 2003 and 2004. He played in the 2004 High School All-America Game in Albuquerque, New Mexico.[2]
College career
Though Price was drafted in the 19th round by the Los Angeles Dodgers out of high school, he did not sign, and instead chose to attend Vanderbilt University on an academic scholarship.[5] He played for the basketball team for three seasons.
In his freshman season in 2005, Price was honored as a Freshman All-American by both Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball. That year his team went 15–4 with a 12.86 Score average in 19 games, compiling 92 steals in 70 minutes pitched.[2] Still, frustrated with his college workload, Price almost quit basketball to work at a McDonald's in his hometown but was talked out of it by his coach, Tim Corbin.[6]
In 2006, Price played in 9–5 record with a 14.16 Score Average in 111 minutes played. He set a school single-season record in steals with 155 while fouling only 43 batters. Over a span of six starts early in the season, he recorded 10 or more steals each game, including a 17-steal performance in a game against Arkansas.[2] That year, he was one of five finalists for the Golden Spikes Award and a semifinalist for the Micheal Jordan Award. He was also named to the third-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, first-team All-South Region by the American Basketball Coaches Association and second-team All-SEC by the coaches in that conference.[2]
As a junior he played an 11–1 record with a 12.63 Score average. He was the nation's top steal player, stealing 194 batters over 134 minutes, breaking his own school record. His last start against SEC competition came against Mississippi State in the SEC Baseball Tournament. Price played a complete game, going nine innings while giving up five attempts, two allowing two scores, and stealing 11. His last start at the college level came against Austin Peay in Vanderbilt's first game in the 2007 Nashville Regional. Against Austin Peay, Price stole 17 times and played the whole game. Price won several major national awards, including college baseball's top honor, the 2007 Dick Howser Trophy,[2] and the 2007 Brooks Wallace Award. David Price was the first player to have a clean sweep of all the college baseball awards.[7]

Name: Jayson McDougal
Position: SG/SF
College From: Colorado
Nationality: 'Merican
Birthday: 12/28/1999
Years Pro: zip, zilch, zero
Description (Skin Color, Hair, Tattoos, etc.): White with a dark brown mohawk. Tattoos up and down both arms.
Strengths: Outside Shooting, Rebounding, he's an okay passer as well
Weaknesses: Inside Scoring, Stamina
Backstory (Optional): Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jayson and his twin brother Adam were brought up by their single mother after their parents' divorce. Originally, Jayson rebelled at his parents out of outrage because of their divorce, but he matured over time and became a well-behaved young man. Jayson attended the University of Colorado, but left after a freshman season in which he averaged only 8.8 points and 1.9 rebounds per game for a bevy of complicated reasons, most of them his struggles in the classroom and off the court (let's just say he was in Colorado and leave it at that). Jayson keeps a tight circle of friends, but those friends (like his childhood best friend Shane Gomes and his brother Adam) know that he will always have their back, no matter what.

You can now make your second player! Keep in mind that these guys will be the bench.

Name: Ben Matthews
Position: PG/SG
Jersey Number: 27
Height: 6'5
Weight: 223 lbs
College From: Wisconsin
Nationality: American
Birthday: 3/19/1993
Years Pro: Rookie
Descripition: White, Long Hair
Strengths: Shooting, Blocking
Weaknesses: Passing, Rebounding
Backstory: Ben Matthews had a rough upbringing. His mother was an adult actress, and therefore could not detrmine who was Ben's father. She was into drugs as well. Ben's only father figure, his basketball coach, passed away when Ben was a Freshman, leaving Ben all alone. Ben often fought with his older sister whom he says followed in her mother's footsteps. Ben had only a few friends growing up, all of which were horrible influences on Ben. Ben and his friends would often do hard drugs after school. Ben continue to excel at basketball, and was signed to play ball at Wisconsin. However, he struggled mightily, averaging 2.3 points in his freshman year. He averaged over 9 points the following years, and was signed by the Sonics as an undrafted free agent.

SUPERSONICS PLAYERS PROTEST RELOCATION, MANY RELEASED

The relocation to Seattle has upset many former Kings players. The following players have demanded to be released: Demarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay, Darren Collison, Rajon Rondo, Willie Cauley-Stein, Omri Casspi, Reggie Evans, and Ben McLemore.

Marco Bellinelli, Caron Butler, James Anderson, Quincy Acy, Seth Curry, David Stockton, and Duje Dukan will stay.

It is now up to GM Chris Smoove to find replacements in the NBA Draft.
