The Eastern final has been set for what seems like ages as the Bruins against the Penguins. The current Western teams have both gone to game 7 in their series, so the Kings, Sharks, Red Wings, and Blackhawks can all make it in. As it is, I'm already happy with the Bruins successful season, but once you make it into the top 4, you kind of want to make it all the way. --- I don't actually expect much or any discussion in this topic on these forums, but this "Other Sports" board looked so lonely. |

Really disappointed about games 5 and 6. Not feeling optimistic about game 7, but I'm hopeful nonetheless. If we do make it through, Kings or Sharks should be an easier series than the Blackhawks are. |

good thing the rangers lost, most of the ranger fans in my school have been ranger fans since they got NHL 12, i'm dead serious. So every time the rangers beat the devils they start to talk shit, but now, none of them talk |

I just finished watching the hawks wings game. So many bad calls,so little time. I've been a fan through the dark ages of 2005 or so, and the hawks are so incredibly stacked that they skip the rule book. Seriously, those "coincidental penalties" definitely don't include the push from a player on the bench, Abdelkader, who carried himself Like Justin Bieber's little brother at times the way he reacted to his penalties. Hopefully more national exposure means better refs. As you can see, I have no better place to rant. |

Round 3 is beginning now, between: Bruins and Penguins Kings and Blackhawks Really worried about whether the officiating is going to screw up the Bruins series a lot. I mean, I think the Penguins could probably wind up beating the Bruins without help, but I think they will be favored anyway. If there's any controversy about a hit or something, I bet if it's a Bruins player he'll get suspended, and if he's a Penguins player, they won't even review it. I'd also seriously bet $100 that the Penguins will get more power plays in this series, but that's almost such a sure thing you'd have to be a fool to bet against it. |

Bruins up 1-0, Blackhawks up 2-0. I think the guy picking the music of Chicago's game 7 last series was predicting the final to be Chicago and Boston, and it looks good so far. |

I said it to my friends when the series started, and I'll stick by it: Whoever wins the Blackhawks-Red Wings series is taking the Cup. I still stand by that. As a Red Wings fan, the loss stung, but that was one hell of a series to watch. Hawks are gonna take the Cup in 6 or 7. |
