I know nothing about soccer. What's the difference between the EPL and the Champions League and why are teams in both?

That's a good question. The Champions League is a tournament for teams all over Europe while the EPL is just a league. The top four teams in the English Premier League (EPL) qualify for the Champions League.

A couple suggestions:

1) Add a monthly stats update, recapping the stats for each player to date
2) Maybe throw in some storylines, or at least add a little substance to the match summaries. Right now they're just "This guy scored. Then this guy scored. Mignolet made a horrible mistake and the other team scored. We played awful even though we barely lost."

Otherwise, this is a pretty solid log [unlike Mignolet's goaltending, heh]. YNWA
