Sharks need a bump from 3rd. How do the playoffs work in this league?

There are 4 teams from each conference making the playoffs, 8 teams total:

-PC Central Division Champ
-PC Coastal Division Champ
-PC Wildcard #1
-PC Wildcard #2
-AC Central Division Champ
-AC Coastal Division Champ
-AC Wildcard #1
-AC Wildcard #2

They're seeded by record, with the wildcards seeded the lowest, and the AC Champ will face the PC Champ in the ABO Finals.

The Conference Semifinals are a best of 5 (2h, 2a, 1h), the Conference Finals are a best of 7 (2h, 2a, 1h, 1a, 1h), and the ABO Finals are a best of 7 (2h, 2a, 1h, 1a, 1h).

I have a quick question to ask before I post the next update: All-Star Game voting is currently in progress, but would it be a good idea to copy the ballot at a certain time, and open it up to you guys to vote on? What do you guys think? Since I can only submit one ballot in-game, it would probably just be taking the collection of who you vote for and submitting it into the game.

Why can't you put the highest guys automatically on the roster manually? I have done that before to get all the guys who played better. (Mike Trout was not going to make the roster with all the triple crown stats)

I don't think he's in commissioner mode.

I am in Commish Mode, but I'm letting the game do it's own thing. I do want to submit a ballot myself, though, but I want the forum to be involved as well, hence the idea of having a SurveyMonkey-type thing to do that.

2016 ABO First Year Player Draft

The time has come to usher in a new crop of youngsters to the league. Although they might not get too much action right away in the Prep League, most players should impact their new clubs in the years to come.

The draft order is based on the overall standings in the league at the time of the draft, so the Chicagoland Skyliners with their 13-35 record will have the first pick of the draft. Here now are the first round results of the 5-round draft:

1. Chicagoland Skyliners: SP Lynn Adams, 22, .5*/4.5*, Wichita State University

2. Charleston Palmettos: CF Joe Smith, 20, 1*/4.5*, Stanford University

3. Indianapolis Hoosiers: CF Karl Brady, 17, .5*/2.5*, Coastal Christian High School (Arroyo Grande, CA)

4. Key West Hurricane: SP Dave Hensley, 20, .5*/5*, University of Northern Colorado

5. Salt Lake City Bengals: CF David Perez, 19, .5*/3*, Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH)

6. New Orleans Krewe: CF James Iverson, 20, .5*/1.5*, Stanford University

7. Brooklyn Sabres: 2B Abraham Veilleux, 22, 1*/3*, St. John's University

8. Arlington Blaze: SP Mark Stinson, 20, .5*/4*, University of Utah

9. San Antonio Sharks: SP Dan Robinson, 18, .5*/3.5*, Thompson Valley High School (Loveland, CO)

10. Honolulu Tropics: SP Mark Cason, 21, .5*/4*, Oregon State University

11. Annapolis Angels: SS Ian Joyner, 21, 1*/2*, University of Illinois

12. Anchorage Ice Devils: SP Howard Marshall, 17, .5*/.5*, Clackamas High School (Clackamas, OR)

13. Boise Apples: CL Ed Irvin, 20, .5*/5*, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

14. Nashville Music: C Mike Thomas, 21, 1*/3*, Baylor University

15. Las Vegas Gamblers: SS Ryan Davis, 18, 1*/4*, Groveport-Madison High School (Groveport, OH)

16. Cape Cod Beacons: SP Jeremy Webb, 21, .5*/3*, Chicago State University

17. Kalamazoo Brewers: CL Carlos Oliveira, 22, 1*/5*, Fordham University

18. Grand Rapids Whitecaps: SP Clarence Nelson, 18, .5*/4.5*, Germantown Friends High School (Philadelphia, PA)

19. Hollywood Stars: SP Andres Sanchez, 22, .5*/2.5*, Avila University

20. Seattle Sounders BC: SP Jeffrey Blades, 19, .5*/1.5*, Siletz Valley High School (Siletz, OR)

21. San Diego Surge: C James Murray, 18, 1*/3.5*, Wylie High School (Abilene, TX)

22. Sandusky Beagles: 2B Victor Contreras, 23, 1*/1*, Boston College

23. Orlando Wizards: SP Doug Holliday, 18, .5*/2*, St. Peter's High School (Mansfield, OH)

24. Glendale Copperheads: CL Dennis Banks, 22, .5*/3.5*, University of Virginia

Some good players going off the board in the first round. How many of them will sign? Only time will tell. For now, fans of all teams will have a glimpse at the potential future of their franchises.

Tough position for the Skyliners. Think they should haved picked Joe Smith, but a starter is ok too.
