Boom.

That was the onomatopoeia that best described Justin Upton's night. The Tigers left fielder went four-for-six in tonight's contest with the Red Sox, including a walk-off three-run homer in the bottom of the tenth to give the Tigers the victory.

Up 7-4 going into the ninth, Francisco Rodriguez proceeded to blow a save, culminating in a three-run double by Mookie Betts with one out. Bruce Rondon would clean up the mess before getting into one of his own in the tenth. That mess was a bases-loaded, one out scenario for pinch hitter Mitch Moreland. He lifted one to left field to try to score the go-ahead run, and said runner tried to tag from third. Upton, the MVP of today's game, threw a perfect strike from left field to cut down Pablo Sandoval at the plate, and set up his heroics in the bottom of the inning.

Yep. You're right. He somehow has 3B ability (albeit it's 1/20 ability at 3B, but 3B ability nonetheless).
