Lol, AP Stats.

I thought we gave up a little much in the Shields trade, not an F though. Also I wanted to ask, are your overalls on a scale of 1 - 100?

They are on a 20-80 scale

Did I give the Shields an F? I hate James Shields, but I don't know.

This log is not dead (yet). I am, however, having some problems playing games, which I think may be at least partially due to the fact that I upgraded to El Capitan. The last time I tried to play a game, the program suddenly quit mid-game and I don't know if this will continue to happen or not. Hopefully this comes back eventually, but if it doesn't...blame Apple. It's all their fault.

Apple is dumb so I agree that it is always Apple's fault.

Players of the Week were announced, and our first baseman Paul Goldschmidt won the award for the USA League! Goldschmidt hit .438 with 7 home runs and 13 RBI last week. Regina Seadogs RF Jose Bautista won the award in the Canadian League, with a .429 average, 3 home runs, 5 RBI, and 10 runs scored. In this week’s Power Rankings, Nashville held at number 1, Las Vegas held at number 7, and Toronto held at number 16.

Around the league, one major trade was made, with Saskatoon trading OF Jaff Decker and 2B Marcus Uhlman to Seattle in exchange for LHP Cole Hamels. Hamels holds a 4-6 record and 3.82 ERA this season.

Monthly awards were announced:
Red Sox 1B Miguel Cabrera took home the USA Batter of the Month award. He hit .356 with 11 HR, 24 RBI, and 24 runs.
Neptune CF Mike Trout won the Canadian Batter award with a .366 average, 6 home runs, 20 RBI, and 21 runs scored.
Padres RHP Matt Andriese won the USA Pitcher award with a 4-1 record, 3.69 ERA, and 38 strikeouts in 39 innings.
Expos RHP Zack Greinke won the Canadian League pitcher award, going 4-1 with a 1.42 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 50.2 innings.
Padres SS Addison Russell was named USA League Rookie of the Month. He compiled a .343 average, 5 homers, 20 RBI, and 15 runs.
The Canadian League rookie of the month was Blue Jays LF Steven Souza, who hit .287 with 5 home runs, 13 RBI, and 14 runs scored.

Also, it’s roster expansion time! We purchased the contracts of RHPs Evan Scribner and Dan Otero from Scottsdale (AAA) and C Jason Hagerty from St. Petersburg (AA) and recalled LHP T.J. House, RHPs Anthony Bass and R.J. Alvarez, infielder Zack Cozart, and outfielder Delino DeShields Jr. from Scottsdale.
