May update coming soon I think. Probably gonna try something new for the next game I show too, since I feel like these updates are very dry.

We scored a lot of runs, and gave up a lot.

lol it's still finding its own, this is the first mlb the show log ive actually done and im not sure how to type it up. i dont want to write out a whole game report like i did with pp08.

Fun facts

We lead the major leagues in errors, I feel like we have at least 1 every single game.
Goldy's OBP is .414
Jonathan Villar already leads the team in steals.

Anyone have any ideas on young middle infielders I could go for? That's our weakest spot right now, I'm also looking for a young 3/4 kind of starter.

He sounds like a good option but I don't want to trade within the division unless the return is higher than that.

Uhhh.. Rutledge, Franklin, Espinosa, Hak-Ju Lee, Jace Peterson, Chris Taylor? I can look for 3B but those were the few I thought might be worth it and fairly cheap.

What are the standings so far? I'd have a better idea of who might be selling those types of players if I knew which teams were doing poorly enough to sell in the first place.

I was thinking perhaps javier baez on the cubs, it'd cost me a few good spects which would kill but i'm planning on taking a major league ready by 2016 player inthe first round in the draft so him and my draft pick could set up up nicely to contend for next season.

Josh collmenter got a concussion on a ball that hit his head, out 3-4 weeks, aaron blair called up, signed 19yr old SP michael santos to a 1yr deal

A good game, Hellickson stepped it up after a few poor starts in a row.

Image
Tough loss, errors and failure to capitalize with runners in scoring position cost us.

Image
Not who I expected to do it. Wily Peralta was no-hitting us until the 8th too, a pinch hit 3 run blast by Gerald Laird sealed the deal.

Here are some end of the month stats. Onto June, the draft, and checking the scouting tab for the first time in this franchise.

We traded SP Bronson Arroyo and a minor league reliever (R.J. Hively) for SP Vance Worley and 1B Corey Hart.

Worley will take his spot in the rotation, probably until Collmenter returns and then we'll see what we do. Hart will be released.

Another roster move sent Aaron Blair back down to AAA after an erratic start in which he displayed no control, Randall Delgado was called up to the major league squad.

Blair's potential went up to A! So I want to get him more starts at the minor league level, I don't expect to call him up for the rest of the season.

A complete game shutout by Archie Bradley sealed the deal for the Diamondbacks.

Image
Patrick Corbin pitched 6 solid innings, and we won.

Image
Vance Worley struggled in his debut for the team. Looking at his stats, I didn't realize he has 7 quality starts this year, so hopefully it's just an outlier and he can return to form next time out.
