No story or anything like that, sort of similar to what skitz did with his Astros "log" if you can remember that. Hopefully people are interested in watching the team progress. It'll be very casual if you know what I mean.

DH is always on regardless of NL or AL, generic rules I guess otherwise, playing on Allstar.

Overall rank is 7th apparently from the start, I doubt we'll live up to those expectations. Not sure how the game spews out these rankings. I'm playing with opening day OSFM rosters.

Contact: 12th
Power: 26th
Speed: 4th
Fielding: 23rd
Pitching: 25th

The Diamondbacks are a fun team to use in this game, mainly due to having the #1 overall pick in the very first year.

I'm interested in seeing how this plays out.

We won three in a row to start the season.

And then reality hit us.

Player of the game goes to Carl Crawford going 5-5 with two triples and a double. Meanwhile on the Diamondbacks side, we threw 2 wild pitches scoring a run and had 2 fielding errors, both of which resulted in a run.

Nice.

Shipley got the #5 spot? Nice, they have some pitching coming up the pipeline.

Mostly young bright spots outside of Hill, Arroyo, and Trumbo - think you should drop them on the trade block.

Wasn't Jansen injured to start the year?

Yeah he pitched really well in spring training, better than Archie Bradley, so I figured I'd give him a shot. You'll see how he does in the next update. And I agree, around mid-may if we're doing as poor as I think we will I'll start to seriously shop them and maybe a few other dudes.

Well he was able to do his job against us.

edit: if you wanna know what's going on with any player or team or anything in the league, give me a holla and ill deliver

We had 3 errors in the first 3 innings.
Braden Shipley was sent down to AAA after this start, Archie Bradley was called up.
Randall Delgado was also sent down, not as a result of his performance in this game, but because he was just the odd man out, going to carry another fielder on the bench now.
3B Jake Lamb was called up after tearing up AAA in the first few weeks of April (.457/.472/.657)

Jeez.

Since the big league team had a day off, I took a trip to Reno, Nevada to see how the Aces were doing. Alex Buss hit a walk-off inside the park homerun. They're now 13-2 with 9 consecutive wins. A strong pitching staff has led them to such a hot start this year.

also this happened

So we called up Alex Buss to the majors, he was red hot in Reno, posting a .345/.411/.485 statline with 7 stolen bases to top.
