The only problem I see if I get a PS4 is that my downstairs TV(that nobody uses, and I have the Wii hooked up to. Which means I can play whenever I want since I don't have to worry about other people using the TV) doesn't have an HDMI hookup, which is necessary for the PS4. So I'd have to hook it up to the upstairs TV, which is almost constantly in use when my dad is home at night... :/ Although most of the time he reads on his Kindle and watches TV back and forth, so I might be able to work that out.

A little bit that it's such an overwhelming slant towards the PS4, but then, this IS a baseball-game-based forum and the 2k series IS god-awful.

Checking out TV's, didn't realize they were so cheap. There's a 24 inch with an HDMI input at Walmart for $130. Maybe I could just get a TV too, and set it up in my room.

There's not even going to be a game this year. :/

And yes, I mostly want PS4 to try the Show but also because X1 screwed their customers with all the restrictions. I think we'll be alright with 360 for now, though.

My reasons are the same as phillies' and Brewers' - The Show certainly helps, but I hated the Xbox One from the day it was announced (all its restrictions and such) and I'm so familiar with the PlayStation controls that I wouldn't want to switch unless there was a great reason.

I mean, I was skeptical of the One because of its initial policies and for a while I was thinking PS4, but A. They fixed their policies after hearing the outrage, which basically means that at this point it's not a legitimate reason against the One, and 2. You can't deny that after that shitstorm, they've done a really good cleanup job. They've gotten different (and far better) spokespeople (mainly because Mattrick resigned but eh), their E3 was actually quite good (As was Sony's, but everyone was abuzz about Sony's thrashing of Microsoft near the end of their conference), and they have some really legit stuff coming, either in console features or games. Also, so much of it was just Xbox fanboys trying heartily to defend their console and use the "it's the future" approach and all, while Sony/Wii U/PC fanboys took every single opportunity they could to trash Microsoft and bring up worst-case scenarios with the interpretations of the policies, so as a result it all ended up even bigger than it was and, frankly, than it should have been.

HOWEVER, right now it's looking like a solid 'console war' between the two systems (with the Wii U out and already doing its own thing) and both systems look like they'll sell really well, which is great to hear. That's the spirit of capitalism and whatnot there, seeing that competition and seeing the benefit it gives to the consumers.

Personally, I 1. Already have a 360, so I'm comfortable with the format, the controls, my Xbox Live, etc, and B. Just plain like the games and such better. Like, at E3, there was literally one exclusive showed that I would play on the PS4 (and then, I guess, another with The Show, though I'd rather play Madden/FIFA anyways). That said, up until its delay was announced, the first game I was gonna play on my One wasn't a console exclusive, but Watch Dogs; now, it'll probably be Forza 5 that I boot up first (my god it looks so gorgeous).

Sorry for the length, I just ramble a lot when I'm trying to get my point across.

I'm the complete opposite here. XBOne really has nothing too interesting other than Titanfall, while PS4 has Killzone, Knack, Infamous, plus whatever Naughty Dog comes up with

Definitely the PS4.

Infamous was the exception I noted for PS4. My tastes just lie other place; the exclusives are completely a matter of opinion, and both consoles have a really strong-looking lineup at launch, which is fantastic. ^_^
